Mitsubishi MT1601
Just bought a Mitsubishi 1601 but struggling to understand the three point linkage connections before I buy the actual 3 point linkage. The set up on the back seems different to the pictures I keep seeing online. Picture attached and any point in the right direction would be appreciated. To add to the mystery it came with an Iseki SR1200CO which has a temporary fabrication to hold it in position and apparently for previous owners transporting assistance. I believe that although bought together they never actually worked together (yet). Everything seems in the way for both the tiller and any 3 point linkage I am attempting to buy.

Your top image is incorrect for a proper 3point.

There is a bracket that bolts on underneath with the bottom pins. I could not find the proper sized bracket so I ended up welding and bolting a solution.

If you use the sleeve for the tiller your 3point triangle is too small to work properly.View attachment 713681

Thanks for the reply.
The back link you have there for yours is a threaded bar on mine. It looks a bit lightweight and would need to be bushed as it is only about 10mm diameter. In my limited knowledge the back link here is normally attached to a bar that goes all the way through to the other side. In fact the linkage I am looking at to buy includes this bar.
Has yours bent slightly and what diameter did you weld on.
Yes the tiller arms are too short and I'll probable sell that as I want a topper.

Is that an adapter for the pto ? That's next on my list.

I'm not sure exactly what you've got. A three point hitch normally has two arms extending back from the tractor. They are attached to the tractor at one end which is free to pivot and raised by those two gray arms connected to them. The far end then connects to the desired implement. The third point is the upper link which connects to the center of the tractor just under the seat. It is normally adjustable and allows you to set the angle of your implement. Look at a friend's three point or go to any tractor dealer to see what a three point should be and how it works.

Yeah I think I bent that one. Probably when I put a few hundred pounds more on the disc than I should have.

I am trying to remember where I got that bottom bar from. It is solid all the way through.

If I were to make it again I would use a heavy schedule pipe between the plates and thread it so I could use replaceable pins. Sometimes those are in the way.

I just remembered, that bar was from the brackets that were too small to bolt to the case!

And I just remembered I had a reference image what the actual one is supposed to look like.

It's been awhile, there are 3PT conversion kits out there from Sparex

Yes that looks like the one I'm looking at. But if you look at the 8th picture above the pivot for the lower arms doesn't appear to be there. Its just a thread.

Sparex usa did not have anything for the Mitsubishi or Satoh in the way of conversion kits. I also could not find anyone that had the proper U brackets that bolt to the rear case on their shelves.

I already attracted an image if what the needed brackets and bar look like, however, here is the image from one of the manuals showing the same u-brackets and bar that go below the tiller sleeve mount.

Oh yeah, there is an upper bracket for the three point that is for the two toplink heights.

That one is easy to make or find.
