The slider rails or tracks in Kubota F are only 8-9 inches apart and the ROPS anchoring plates are very close to the seat (at least on F3060) so I would take measurements first.

It may require some fabrication if you go for a standard US style seat where the rails are much wider apart.

I wonder if just replacing the seat base would help. This seat is uncomfortable

That's what I would do if the suspension works good and is not out of adjustment.

The Kubota seat suspension mounting to the mower frame bolt holes are only about 5 1/8" apart sideways (see the blue arrows below), whereas the standard US seat mounting is about twice as wide.

Replacing just the seat would save you from fabricating in-between steel plate (or some type of flat-bar setup).

Mounting of complete US standard suspension seat is not a problem if you have the time & capability to do some fairly minor steel fabrication.

My comments are based on F3060 which is similar to 3680 but not the same so your mileage may differ.

I was just looking at the spare parts drawing "M22000 Seat" for F3680 and it looks a lot different than F3060!

1. I don't see suspension mechanism at all
2. The seat mounting point to the mower frame looks a lot wider

Instead of seat suspension under the seat, it has a toolbox!

Item 110 is "Toolbox Cover"

I would definitely install a quality suspension seat if your mower has what is shown in the above F3680 drawing.

Its a pretty bad seat. Dealer told me this morning the seat cushion is NOT a separate part, and therefore cannot be replaced!

The F80 series seat has suspension built in, not separate from the seat itself like on the F60 series. The F80 seat is a Milsco v5300.

Have you tried adjusting the knob in the middle of the bottom cushion?

Ah, you sound like someone with knowledge. I have tried increasing the seat weight to prevent bottoming out (but that was just speculative, it hasnt bottomed out yet).
I may have to play with that adjustment, but the seat in general is very basic. Not very padded on the bottom. Wonder if a new seat cushion is possible? According to the first Kubota parts inquiry, you cant buy seat pad only.

After experimenting with adjustments, I would try contacting Milsco directly for parts and see what they can do. I’m not sure replacing the bottom cushion will do much unless yours is somehow completely pancaked.

I installed the same Milsco seat on my BX shortly after I got it. It was better than the original Kubota seat that had no suspension other than the springs on the back of the base.

My F3060 has the separate Kubota branded seat/suspension that is OK. Not great but OK.
