Backhoe JD 310D neutral safety switch

Hello all. This is my first post. I have 1995 John Deere 310d and I’m looking for the location of the neutral safety switch. The backhoe is Acting like its not in neutral and doesn’t start with the key but there is power going to one of the black relays in fuse box area when the key is turned but there’s no signal sent across the relay to start the backhoe. When the relay is removed and a little jumper wire is installed in the terminals the hoe starts and works like normal.

I’ve read it may be the neutral start switch but dont know where it’s located. Trying to find the location of it before I open up the forward/reverse lever next to the steering wheel and create a bigger mess.

The JD dealer was no help so Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Is this fwd/rev switch likely what you need, or where the neutral switch is located?

Where the neutral switch is located. The backhoe works perfectly when started. I’ve checked all over and I’ve found a button switch, about 3-4 inches long, located on top right side of the transmission/axles but want confirmation before I start ripping things apart. What I found looks like the attached pic

Neutral start relay is shown as 1 location of key 4. Switch(key 23) is associated with trans control shifter BUT I'm not sure if it's a NSW.
