I amazed at how sure people are that certain things can't be done!

Manufacturer s sure seem to think they will. Audi/VW is ending development on all ICE engines except the one they use in competition.

I'm all for people voting with their wallets. Lets see if they can make it work.

I hope their engineers visit the American West...

Now would be a good time to invest in rebuilding gas/diesel motors. Their might be a huge future market for this service.

If you believe coal has a bright future, by all means invest in coal mines or coal stock. The percentage of electricity generated in the US continues to plummet and each year, more coal fired power plants are retired. Cheap natural gas has been a toxin to toxic coal. I feel badly for the coal miners, but the writing is on the wall. Adapt, reskill, relocate, or accept a diminished future. RIP dirty coal.

Amazon just refurbished a coal plant to power their AWS server farm in Wyoming because coal is plentiful and cheap. You know, the company that is going to be all green in 10 years.

I'm not sure I follow your logic here.

Amazon is actually utilizing the cheapest and most reliable form of electricity to provide a product people want in a cheap and reliable fashion.

How is that impacting your electricity rates?

Just curious, but how does all this Jeff Bozos, Amazon, coal fired generation relate to compact diesel tractors becoming obsolete? I read the original post, and the current conversation is a ludicrous extension of that, having zero to do with TRACTORs on TRACTOR BY NET.

Wyoming will market it's coal to any wanting customers. Amazon is a wanting customer.

Microsoft is in the process of building their server farm and it's being ran by coal. We have the worlds largest super computer, and it too is ran off electricity powered by coal. See a trend here?

Amazon will say their green by buying carbon credits elsewhere...
