Was surprised that there was no extra weight in the dump bed.

I know some people use weight and I have a empty 55 gal drum set aside to fill with ballast but haven't needed it. From a stop with the blade a full angle it does want to push the Toolcat to the side with 1ft of snow but can be steered into and overcome (like at the 2:55 min mark in the above video). That's about the only place where I even notice an issue.

Since its a video, I'll add to Nates fun thread.
Dirtmonkey came out and played with my snow plow and my toolcat a bit this winter.

Toolcat is in the last half of the video.

Alright, might get some comments on this one...lol but I did a lift capability video for the toolcat with various objects including a boulder, 27ft tree log and my car with 530 miles on it 😬 Enjoy

Noticed you wearing a "One Lap" shirt. My co-driver and I ran the "One Lap" for 17 years, starting in the early 90's. All us One Lappers are a bit crazy. I understand.

Only got a chance to run it once in 2012 with a friend and his supercharged BMW M3. It was fun!

Here's how to add rear aux hydraulic with manual selector valve that switches between the dump bed and the aux ports. I installed this on my Toolcat 5600 for use with a UTV Hitchworks 3-point hitch. I used a metro 6-port hydraulic selector valve with a knob to switch between sending hydraulic flow to the dump bed or the rear 3-point hitch in my case. Mine ended up a little messier than desired so I might go back and redo the hoses with 1/4in hose and use the below suggested hose lengths (I used 18,18,60, 67 inches in a 3/8 hose size).

Suggested Hoses:
16in, 20in, 56in and 62in with 3/8 flare female on all ends. Get 1/4 hose if possible but with 3/8 fittings

Fittings:
2x 3/8 NPT male to 3/8 flare male elbow
2x 3/8 flare T fitting
2x 3/8 NPT male to 3/8 flare male
2x 3/8 flare plugs for OE passenger lines
2x 3/8 NPT male to 1/4 NPT male: https://amzn.to/3yB8JwO
Desired quick connect style with 1/4 NPT female: Amazon.com: 1/4” Ag ISO 5675 Hydraulic Quick Connect Pioneer Style Couplers, 1/4” NPT Thread, 2 Sets : Industrial & Scientific
All the aboce cost me $200 at my local store
Here is the selector valve I used, Metro 280379: Amazon.com: Metro Six Port - Two-Position Double Selector Valves: 20 GPM, 3000 PSI with 3/8 NPT Port Size, 280379 : Industrial & Scientific
Total around $350

Nice auto connect.

Would have liked to have seen that big bush hog doing some cutting of some small trees, maybe on a slope.

Another video shows taking on an 8 inch tree.

Wonder how the Toolcat and the other Bobcat are on slopes. All those videos are on relatively level ground.

Here's smaller trees earlier in this thread, also have tall grass earlier in this thread too. Can't help you with slopes...I live in SE Michigan!

Finally got around to adding a backup cam (and "dash" cam) to my toolcat. Front cam helps with seeing the front passenger corner of attachments and rear helps backing up and watching the 3 point.

It's been a while but made another toolcat video with it plowing about 10" of wet snow on the concrete driveway.

you have the same issue I find when plowing, I have the V blade and in low speed it moves the snow but never throws it off the side, if I use high speed (rabbit) at 12 to 14 mph it throws good but easily bogs down the motor and does not maintain the speed, I tend to drive thro in low speed with plow in V setup then high speed angled, taking less bite it maintains the speed and throws nicely

I finally did the switch to truck tires, Toyota Tacoma 265/65r17 on 17x7.5 +30mm offset wheels. Fit with no rubbing (i've driven on them loaded off road since and nothing seen even with lifting tires off the ground in ditches).
Full video on the install and findings/learnings

with the extra height of the tires how does the bucket sit with arms fully down? can you still sit flat on the ground? what about grass cutting?
