They sold it, at less then they paid for it, that's why they lost money.I think it is more like don't buy it if you can't use it - because no one wants to pay what you paid for it.

Sure just like if you bought Gamestop stock hoping for it to go lower, and instead went higher, you have to sell it at the price it is, not what you hoped it to be. I don't see what color you are painting these companies as, has anything to do with poor investment strategy. Ok, i think i get it now. You're thinking "green" companies are run by a bunch o smart people, so they should be smart in everything. Not my experience, but i think i get that broad brush concept.They don't have a way too store it so it has to be sold. They were under contract to buy so much at a certain price. BIG MISTAKE. Our town is an example of how not to go green. You would think the green energy companies would try to make things work for future customers but now lawyers are involved - more expense. If elected people and decide to go green their career will be cut short when voters have to foot the bill.
