Yep...and if some idiot runs a non-ferrous material (aluminum, most often) on a grinder, better dress the wheel before use. Aluminum, as I'm sure you know, clogs the wheel which can overheat it and lead to a catastrophic failure.
If it don't spark, don't grind it!

Have one DeWalt wheel that got used on some aluminum a number of years ago and I moved it into the "Only for use on aluminum" category ...

I have been using the cheapest 4 1/2" cutting discs and grinding wheels from HF for years... the ones usually 'on sale' 10 for $7.99.... never had one explode. I guess I am just lucky....

BEF- what are you using to convert the VHS tapes- I still have one or two to convert.

I had converted from VHS to DVD years ago. I have a vhs to dvd deck. This is going from DVD to mp4.
Got all my VHS and now VHSC videos in mp4 format, all dated titles and backed up. I had done some to mpg before, but mp4 is a good bit smaller file size.
Went down this rabbit hole trying to date pictures from the 80s, before cameras that dated pics. Remembered I had video with some of the info.
I made a spreadsheet with every day back to 1970, and listed where I took pics on particular days. Not done filling it out, but got a lot of info down. It’s a tab in my genealogy spreadsheet, so kind of a history.

Toilet and Bidet installed. Had to make trip to Lowe’s for a new toilet mounting ring. Bought SS this time..

Last flange mounting ring I bought didn’t last long.
You use wax ring or rubber?

Will hold off on SS till I'm 65. With the new rules they have in place I lose 400 a month off the top because I have the government pension!

I saw a huge flock of blackbirds today, some were dropping out to feed in the fields and rejoin the flock. It was as far as I could see in both directions, headed north. Not sure what that indicates.

Good evening all. 35F for the start, light breeze, mostly clear sky. Sky cleared off, light wind and 60F for the high. Chapel to start, make wife breakfast, the deliver meals, and lunch while in town. Watch 1/2 Cowboys game then napped. They lost so no playoff hope

Phil wife went through less SS because of pension as well. However pension includes medical benefits are big plus.

Billy glad you got by without flippers! Glad siding and caulking and staining ok after rain. Congrats on middle son engagement. When "they" started talking about SS as entitlement, I got nervous and started taking it at 62.

RNG understand where you are coming from my financial history similar to yours but no loan on first car ( a beater), and folks paid college tuition and books. No axes and SS are rackets, you did not miss anything sorry about off day

Bill Bull Shoals lake is deeper than 120 feet in many parts.
Bird, what I hear from my neighbor, is they are still changing plan, but he beat the worst of it.
RNG the pilots get the worst of that deal, forced retirement at 60 due to FAA medical issues, anyone who retires early can lose benefits even if retirement is forced.

Don Hope to get some update info on vaccine availability in Cooke, but just got call Dr i Covid quarantine, not sure she is coming out, so that on hold.

My neighbor also said she had to check with her doctor about the vaccine. However my Mom, brother and I think Bird also did not check with their doctor just got on the list from the placed on the Texas health dept. website where the vaccine was distributed.
