Thats a lot of pins and bushings and thats just on one boom, must be giving the lathe a work-out not to mention the cut off saw, how are those things cut, band saw?

Wish I had your fabrication skills. Just Getting all those pins and bushings to line up requires great skill. Awesome build. Real professional looking job.

To make bushings and pins in bottom picture, I'm guessing one bushing is made in one piece, cut to length, put in lathe, use boring bar, then make pin to fit in, then cut bushing up in 4 pieces in band saw for that one pin, then put those 4 bushings back in lathe to smooth up,,,, but you do save time by not having to drill in a grease hole in pin..... So I'm seeing 6+hours of work just in those 5 bushing and pins in bottom picture, but now it looks like those bushings are all just tacked, dont they need fully welded around then sprayed? Yup not getting this done til next year..........

Nope, it's done much faster. I use round tube with thick walls. First I cut it to 41 mm, then use lathe to square the sides and hole, press the replaceable bushing inside, and tack them in line. Later I welded everything. I use tacking only to align everything. If you weld hard right away it tends to pull those parts out of alignment. Got some great angles at the bucket, just as planned...
