Just make sure you have enough room to pull forward on the deck so you can get the ramps folded. We had these ramps on a 30' deck over and had plenty of room to pull up before moving back after the ramps were folded. Additionally, at that price you are getting into deck over territory which make loading from the side much easier as well as loading equipment that is 1"+ too wide to make it between the fenders.

I'd say go find an Iron Bull equipment trailer with the 4,000 lb rated (each) drive over fenders. You can option the pull out or the flip up ramps. Way more versatile with the drive over fenders. I love mine, it's a beast!

221 Rice Trailers 7x2 Powder Coated 14K Equipment Trailer w/ Max Ramps MH3165 | Scott's Recreation

Any experience with this manufacturer? The Max ramps look like a big improvement over the traditional ramp.

Feel free to speak your mind, I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks!

I have a Rice 16' tandem utility 7k. Pretty good trailer, had a support weld break which is somewhat concerning. Easy fix though The powder coating on mine has not held up well. I'll go painted next time. All and all it's a pretty good trailer though.

Most trailer powder coating stinks!

I've found that powder coating on most large things sucks. It seems to be a good coating process for small parts which can be oven baked with consistent controllable temperatures, but on larger things it must be hard to control the process. It ends up coming off in chips and sheets.

I wanted drive over fenders when I bought my equipment trailer just for durability not driving over but I couldn’t find anything with that option. I ended up with just regular fenders but I still have a deckover for abusing.
