Doesn't even need a flag now.
I have hauled a lot of lumber that way.

No it won't workCan you make it out with the convertible on real long ramps and clear the garage door? LOL Jon
This. They drop in price fast in the first few years. Then very slowly. And I agree if you can't pay for one you don't need it.The median price of a home in California is nearly $550k, so that gives us a lot of wiggle room using your framework. My thing on play cars is that you need to be able to write a check for them and not have it put you in a financial bind. I buy them used, drive them for a year or two and sell them for about what I paid for them. We ate rice and beans for years to have no debt and to save a little money, and it was worth it. We each have our hobbies, and I bet I have spent less on mine than the average guy that golfs regularly.

With a car on it yes. You need to duck under the ramps. With my truck on it I can move around under it on a mechanic's chair. But my garage has a 10' ceiling. It is not high enough to get the truck under it with a car on it. The hoist would go a lot higher with a higher ceiling. Are you able to walk under your lift? At times I would like one to raise a little fishing boat up so I could put another trailer under it. Jon
This is approximately where it went over. I don't recall any strong winds for months, nothing like they have in open priarie etc. But its possible. My theory with no hitch remaining, is the hitch wasn't welded on securely. The front structure, triangle, isn't twisted like a rollover would cause.^^^^^
Was it windy that day? I've seen mobiles tipped over from the wind while they are in transit. That stretch of the interstate crosses a big bog, and there's nothing to cut the wind.
Strange, that's not the normal situation. At least on the State-owned routes the maintenance crews do cleanup perhaps weekly. There have been a few times when they were on strike, or were sent elsewhere for mudsides, fire, higher priority emergencies, and the difference is soon noticeable. Generally you will see cleanup crews during any long trip.I will never forget my first trip to Cali 7-8 years ago was in that general area, Eastbay, north of Oakland, and I was totally taken off guard.
As I was driving East towards Antioch, I had never seen so much debris on the ground. I have traveled a lot through out the rest of the country for work, and what I saw that day was the worst I had ever seen anywhere.
Honestly, my subsequent visits were not nearly as bad, so maybe I caught it at its very worst, but there still was a lot of trash and I always thought of Cali as this pristine state......

I especially noticed abandoned mattresses , everywhere, especially on the sides of the highways and major thoroughfares.

Hopefully he has some good brakes, probably also very slow going up a hill with just one horsepowerNot necessarily towing something wrong, but I still think it might fit in here. I don't see any chains tho.![]()
