Surprised by a good 3" of snow early this morning.. cleared the drive with a small 54" plow. Still a good 2" remains on the lawn but rain due with higher temps so should not last long. Maybe natures one last "sneeze".. we will see.

Already stopped here. Just got a dusting. But we still have 8" on the front lawn that is shady. The sunny back has bare spots. Took both plows off last weekend but kept them handy.

Snowed a half inch here at home in the White Mountains. Transitioned to a damp, cloudy day now, but I see from my window that it's still snowing up on the peaks. Happy Spring!

Mine staying in the shed until it can get into the woods to drag out some firewood logs. I visit it each day to calm it down a bit.. almost had to leave it in the woods on the east side slope earlier this week. But made it out ok. Freezing tonight so maybe early morning will make a run at it.

Have the new thumb on the forks to move limbs, brush, and logs.

Nice, I have been happy with mine so far for those jobs.
I also find if you slide your forks closer together, it makes a great rock remover.
I dig in near vertically next to the rock in question, jiggle it back and forth a few times, then grab it with the thumb and lift the rock out.

Do that just as you say.. Forks were a super tool, the thumb just made them much better.
Moved several rocks couple days ago, and placed them in a rock wall with precision and ease.

That's a great setup. If I ever got a grapple, it be something like that on the forks.

First of September already, and thinking about snow removal this winter.
A few years back I built a wing plow for my JD 4300. In time, for deer hunting, I got a GoPro camera and took awhile to learn how to operate it.. still learning too.
Today I ran across some GoPro files of using the wing plow to push the snow berms back beyond where the 7' Western plow on the 4300 could push, either too deep or over too near the ditch line without sliding off.
So today I figured out how to run the GoPro file through "movie maker" and put a YouTube video together showing the wing plow in action and showing how the wing plow mounts quickly to the 4300.
Want to make a better video of the wing plow, but finding a good place to mount the camera has escaped me. Have a friend with a drone that wants to come down and show me what it can do, maybe I can talk him into this nice winter scene and make some above and around shots of the wing plow.
