Weld On Euro Style Draft Hooks

I decided to have Fit Rite Hydraulics modify my draft links with these hooks. Photo attached. I've done all my own welding since before I left home, but decided to give myself a treat and have Brian do it instead. They look great.

I have used a fixed quick hitch for quite a while, but it has some drawbacks. Now that Brian has the Cat 1 hooks (versus Cat 1/2) I made the change.

By the way, did you get enough balls for all the implements? Otherwise you will be constantly playing with your balls.

Never paid attention to the Euro system- how are the balls attached to your implements? The welding/grinding work almost looks too good for farm equipment! I've seen videos in the past of implements being exchanged using that system, and it looks very practical and efficient.

As far as the implement balls I think I'm at about 6 or 8 pairs now and contemplating getting a few more.

I hope you love them as much as I love mine! If I had to do it over again on a standard L Kubota I would have gotten the Cat 1 hooks like yours. I have one implement I had to tweak a little to get clearance behind the hook.
