Tractor Sizing First tractor recommendations...

Last year, I bought a Kubota L3010 GST which is a newer version of th eL2900. I really like it. The GST is a nice feature, and the tractor has larger rear wheels that other tractors of that frame size, I think you will be happy with the L2900.

Yes...that's why one always has couple spare filters 5 gallons fluid handy.

I'd probably rip that filter off pretty easily in my woods.

It is a hydraulic filter. The arrow is in the pic because I plan on making a guard for it. The point I was making to the OP is that the L2999 GST he is looking at might be a good choice. BTW that filter is about 30" off the ground.

Good idea to make a guard. Nothing worse than seeing a trail of fluid when working. As for the actual height, I'd guess the bottom of the filter is about 23.5-24" off the ground.
