It is sad that there are folks that are not following the guidelines still.. it will make it worse for all of us. We will make it through, just have to have some patience.

I was at a grocery store at 7:45 am today that opened at 8 for seniors only. A young man came from the parking lot and tried to cut in at the front of the line, but an old lady beat him back into the parking lot with her cane.

He returned and tried to cut in again but an old man punched him in the gut, then kicked him to the ground and rolled him away.

As he approached the line for the 3rd time he said, "If you don't let me unlock the door, you'll never get in there."

Under normal circumstances our latch string is always out but with over 7,000 Covid cases in Michigan the wife and I have curtailed our social contacts for the time being. Huge bummer as we both enjoy entertaining and are active in our local Episcopal Church. But for the wife grocery shopping (and keeping the libation cabinet stocked) I have not been off the reservation for 3 weeks and it appears another 4 weeks to go.
The good news, i知 Getting a ton of stuff done.

I am in a bit of a pickle here-wife told me she wants to go back to work as a CNA starting tomorrow as a contractor. This scares the heck out of me...I told her she will have to find me or her another place to stay for isolation.

Why does she want to do this now? Frustrating she wants to increase the anxiety and risk of this and throw it in my lap so she can help her son with his bills. She and I are all set and dont need extra money.

I am not exactly healthy but her son is (by another marriage).

Mothers and Wifes don't always make sense.
My wife could retire, could have a few years ago but she keeps working.
And it's in a hospital, not were I enjoy having her go every day.

How old is the son? I just give my kids advice that's the best way to help them...
