Geez, hope they are right on Losartin. My wife and I are both on it. And are prescriptions were just refilled on a quarterly basis.

Might wanna grab some zinc to throw into the mix as well from what I hear (I linked to a medical study on the zinc aspect in another forum)

Of course, you should consult with your doctor on any of this.

You are probably right on the border part. Still the articleç—´ point was Italy has fewer health resources than other countries. Ok one that low resource rate with no containment effort and the disaster was predicted.

When the US started restricting travel there were some objections but it appears to be the right action. Basically slow the progression so resources aren稚 overwhelmed.

So sad for Italy.

Apparently Italy has a high Chinese population, and many of them returned from China to celebrate Chinese New Year. Whoops. Then there was that whole "hug a Chinese" thing.. Not such a good idea...Nothing like virtue signaling to get a good epidemic started.

Geez, I am so busy at work that I am losing perception of time. I went and found the article I first read. It was published on March 12. (So much for weeks ago.)

My memory was inaccurate in the acute care beds per capita between Italy and the US. The US is only slightly better than Italy. Germany had the highest rate (of countries mentioned in the article). Interestingly, the US has the highest rate of health care spending. What is heavily implied, if not outright claimed, is that Italy has the least medical resources and what it does have is 登ld? Basically a double whammy of limited health resources and little containment effort. Ergo, it is very sad for Italy right now.

Cool on the zinc. I will check that out. I have been getting orange juice everyday and washing my hands thoroughly and frequently. Hunir alert: I am sure I read somewhere that good scotch has a high zinc level.

It seems as there are fewer to pass businesses that the wealthy people from China is buying more of the businesses in Italy and the country itself perhaps. This is understandable. With interest paying about 0% today it is better to buy real assets. A declining population is the kiss of death. Like in weather a vacuum will always be filled with something else.

Good deal ...

Will probably turn out to be a normal cold or something ... but don't be hero: if it gets to the point where you feel it's warranted, seek medical treatment immediately.

Thanks. No cough or fever so hoping it's a combination of stress and maybe a cold.

That's an "it depends". Full face rubber respirators cover the entire face, including the eyes. The powered blowers often feed hoods or helmets that also totally enclose the face/head. That is why you see some healthcare workers in hoods (with blowers). The blower feeds air into the hood which greatly reduces worker fatigue and improves comfort. Plus you get fully covered. But not something you are going to find in every Home Depot...

Back when I had to wear respirators and scbas I always prefered the airline scba with the "10" minute opps belt pak,
for the respirators the powered ones were so much more comfortable and cooler.

I scored a package of TP today  Is the end in sight? Wishful thinking.

And I got two six count packs this morning :cool2:
I don't know if the end is in sight or the hoarders ran out of money, either way I did see a lot less empty shelves in the grocery store.
One good thing in this are is that we have 3 direct farm to market milk producers and bottlers,
so milk is usually going to be available, (and ice cream).
