Hi All, I have been waiting for several years to pull the trigger and so i did.

Tried to find a used with wty for a while and no one could produce a receipt for me to follow up with manufacturer to pursue a wty and with not being able to confirm devices I went with new.

Rebate was helpful. I was so close to pulling the trigger on a 211si but again the guy couldnt provide that documentation that i needed so had to pass - sorry mark

I ended up with red - havent fired it up yet, my wife picked up this cart on a walk. It was destined for the landfill so we rescued it and I knew one day i could find a use for it. Well that day has come. I added a shelf, a couple cross supports and cut a hole in the top for the bottle and viola' mig cart, it has wheels on the back legs so you just pick up the front a couple inches and away she goes..........

FWIW i did figure out how to post pix on WW, I also am able to create new posts but so many features gone and not working along with many of the users. I dont blame them, i only checked back in because a few had been waiting a post for me and my updates. I think most of them even bailed - doesnt look good for that site. Its been broken far too long.

Sweet!!!!!!!! I've had mine for a while, got the spool gun with it. Once you do the basic settings, there's lots of room to fine tune on the screen. Only hic-cup for me is forgetting to initiate the stick function on occasion. A little turn of the dial. Nothing like being all ready to weld and wtf, no sparky. It will happen to you, trust me.

Another Lincoln. Nice! Something to be said about continuity

Congratulations on your new welder and looking forward to your opinions.

i will likely get a spool gun at some point just not quite ready for it - i grew up with red tractors so its kind of hard not getting red welders ;-) although my first car was a baby blue 1972 gran torino station wagon so i could do blue as well - royal blue isnt bad :)

Start gathering clean aluminum scraps. Then you’ll be “ready” for a spool gun to practice with.

all i have rounded up so far is some aluminum sheet metal from a horse trailer someone made a mid tack saddle rack/cabinet out of - got my neighbor looking for some for me, he works on semi trucks that gets wrecked so he should be able to come up with something to practice on

Clean scraps and off cuts from a fab shop would be ideal. You won’t want to practice on thin stuff.

I’d start with the thickest aluminum your machine is rated for.

My son bought a 210MP a few weeks ago and it's been flawless so far. I'm impressed with the fit and finish of it too.

I just pulled mine out yesterday after the winter to fix a bed rail for the wife.
Connected up, turned on the gas and was done in 15 minutes.
It has always just flat simply worked. One of my best purchases.

I thought I confirmed it with you. It is on the site. Anyway, there's a lot of difference in the two units, not even in the same class. I'm confused.:confused2:
