A quick search did not turn up anything for me. Surely I can't be the first one to have some questions about this new series - perhaps I missed something...

The LX2610HSDC looks to be everything I was originally looking for when I settled for my cabless B2601. Cab, A/C, heat. The performance specs are closer to the B2601, but it takes the bigger BH77 hoe.

Anyway - I was hoping there might be someone on here with the inside scoop.

Thanks Thomas! How's the weather?

EDIT: The LX is nothing to write home about, apparently being the replacement for the B50 series. Somehow the LX2610 looked smaller in pictures than the B2650 - like a B2601 with cab. Oh well - I just saved a bunch of money.

I attended the Western Farm Show exhibit yesterday and the Kubota booth had no spec sheet on the LX..."yet".

Cheers,
Mike.

Agreed.

Specifications for the LX2610 are just about identical to the soon to be discontinued B2650.

I'm surprised that I have yet to see the telltale plumes of smoke/steam emanating from the occasional back-forty. Any day now, I surmise.

Yep...that's why we're looking strongly at B2650.

If you want a B2650, buy it soon as Kubota is no longer manufacturing it.

The new LX2610 offers an optional "Swift-Tach" FEL with single lever hydraulic manifold. One can attach/detach the FEL without leaving the tractor seat. An optional mechanical self leveling package is also available.

Also new is an SU version of the LX2610, similar in concept to the discontinued SU version of the B3350.

I saw both LX2610 and LX3310 at the Louisville show last week.

Brochures are not yet available but I have a preliminary version from last falls dealer's meeting.

I had pretty much decided to buy a L2501 because pricing wise my dealer could get it for just a little more than the B2650 which is really all the tractor I need. But now I'm wondering if I should wait because the LX2610SU (base model of the LX without mid PTO) seems like it would do everything I need and might come in at a lower price than a L2501.

Typically the mid PTO option is runs about $350 on the grand L痴. I wouldn稚 expect much difference in price unless there are other items removed in the more economical version.

Good luck with the purchase decision.

According to the spec sheets going to the economy version (SU) you lose midmount PTO, Cruise Control, Tilt steering, and deluxe seat. None of these things sound very expensive outside of the midpto for Kubota but I would think they would have to be priced at least 1K+ different for them to make a LX2610SUHSD and LX2610HSD model.
