Good morning! 41˚F heading to a high of only 45˚F cloudy.
We are out of greens so out to the garden this morning, brrr.
Hopefully no one will see me and want tractor work, because if they ask it's like my catnip, resistance if futile.

Thomas you are doing better than me I only see 9 deer in Ron's pic. Deer culling is also going on in our neighborhood with large net traps.

Morning all. it's not light out yet, but weather report says SEATTLE DRIZZLE all week and i bet it rained about 2 inches just yesterday. it did stop for a bit around 8pm. I'd sure like some dry days to get some outside stuff done, but i did mow the lawn this week with my old Craftsman push mower (it's only 750 square feet of grass).

for all of you that maybe have some back pain I'd highly recommend hanging on an inversion table. i won't go into it to much unless you ask, but I bought one over 10 years ago and I haven't needed advil or needed to see the good chiropractor since. my 86 year old mom had back pain about 5 years ago and since she's a retired RN (nurse for those young guys that might not now) she went to her Dr. and even with a MRI they couldn't find anything wrong. her Dr. wanted to give her a shot and she opted for coming over and using my inversion table for 5 minutes a day. after about a week she was off the Vicadin (pain meds) and after a month she hasn't needed to hang since. i hang for 5 minutes when I can even if i don't have pain and don't hang longer cause i accidentally did 10 minutes at a time a few years ago for 3 days in a row when I was having some back spasms and I hurt my achilles.

anyway try it if you can and getting a little dizzy from hanging upside down and a little ankle pain is normal and should go away AND hopefully you won't have to have back surgery or pain again.

cheers all (still drinking a lot of ice tea)

Good morning. It's 48° this morning and overcast. Our forecast is for only 57° this afternoon. We're supposed to back to the mid 70's by the weekend and 80° on Monday.

With our winds yesterday I didn't get much done outside so, spent the day in the shop cleaning and reorganizing.

I do need to remove some more cedar trees to build a base for another burn pile so, if winds stay down, that's the plan for today.

David ... probably a good decision on not welding on your carport.

Ron ... we hold deer counts in August, every year, and work closely with the biologists at Texas Parks & Wildlife (TPWD) to determine what reduction in doe count we should attain. We issue our own doe permits each year and in 2019 we hosted a "youth hunt" with 17 participants from age 9 to 17 years. TPWD agave us the Lone Star Land Steward Award a few years ago. How does your park cull the deer?

Drew ... hope the docs get your issues resolved. Getting older isn't for sissies.

Hope everyone has an excellent "Friday Eve".

Prayers to all.

I remember reading about your event with young people.
Police and other first responders do the culling. The dressed deer are donated to local food kitchens.
I am surrounded by state, metro and county parks/land. As soon as the cull starts. Deer move to another area.

TXDON: I had a Japanese Shiatsu for my main doctor from my late 20's to early 40's and he only spoke a few words of english. he'd always poke at my gut and giggle/laugh a bit cause he knew I could improve my exercise and eating even though I was 6'3 and 190 pounds, but he never asked where it hurt. I remember some days driving up to him where i'd have to turn my entire body to make a lane change cause everything hurt from a pulled muscle (I used to hit golf balls 400 yards was one reason) and after his hour treatment i'd feel some sort of numbness, but much better and next day or two pain and issue was gone.

it's not quite the same with power tools cause I have one of those massaging tools I bought after my Japanese friend passed, but the Chiropractor would fix me and within a few days i'd have the same issue and that's when I found out about the inversion table. get a good one either INVERTALIGN (which Teeter up now owns) or a Teeter up and use it 5 minutes a day and i bet all of us would feel better. some say hanging from a 2x4 in a barn or garage is the same and it helps, but it puts a ton of stress on your arms and shoulders and it's hard to hang for 5 minutes that way.

if any of you have questions just ask and i'm happy to help and I wish I would have bought Teeter Up years ago with all the ones i've probably helped sell, but I just tell people cause it works and let the owners of Teeter up make all the money.

I hang around like a bat a couple times a week. Once you learn to relax and really let it work, it is near life changing.

Good morning All. 20 for a low temperature this morning. 25 now and headed to mid 40’s with sun today. Headed over to a friends house to help fix a couple of bad boards on a porch. Hopefully no frame problems underneath . Have a good Friday eve!
