Thanks for the help but I bought a couple of scribes and a 36" break.

Funny thing about the break, the 3rd project I did on it, I wanted to make a hem on a 39" piece of tin.

What break did you get? Looking for first hand impression of its quality. I have some sheet metal work in the near future, using 18 Ga.

Just a cheapy from harbor freight. I think it was this one.

Got a couple of these from Harbor Freight. I suggest you do a good visual inspection of all availble in the store, and buy the best one which clamps together the best. I'm happy with mine. Plus use a coupon and get it even cheaper.
