Curious if I can use white Wakefield Thermal Compound (silicone grease) that I have a limited (gettin on) lifetime supply

that's zinc oxide with silicone oil, I don't see a problem with that!..

Now I'm wondering if an arrestor is also recommended for a propane "weed" torch used with a standard 20 lb tank? I recently bought this, but haven't hooked it up yet. Propane Torch with Push Button Igniter

the regulator valves i purchased on Amazon claims can be used w/propane.

those aren't needed for propane, it don't explode when compressed, like Acetylene does.

NO because there is no opposing pressure (force) to force flame back from "torch handle" back to regulator, besides most weed burners do not use regulators and gas escapes orifice in burner at tank pressures (at about 70ｰ f its atout 125 PSI)....

After reading this Thread I am looking into new replacement Arrestors, and thinking both ends of the hose isn't a bad thing even my Torches have them built in.
