Around here I believe locust is the best you can get. The wood doesn't rot burns very hot, and long lasting burn times. Just my 2 cents though.

Let's back up a minute. When you say upload to the post,
I should click on the image icon in the tool bar
but then should I select from my computer or from a URL?

If from a URL should I select retrieve the remote file and reference locally?

Yep, click the image icon and select from your computer. I always resize mine to 1200 horizontal pixels prior to uploading it.

Our new facility has increased speed and efficiency. We now have SEVERAL Wicked Grapples in stock!

Inventory will constantly be changing because in stock moves fast around here. In addition to the list, our most popular grapple, the 239 pound Wicked 55 Root Rake Grapple, should ship in TWO WEEKS OR LESS!!!

Other models which aren't in stock should ship in 4 weeks or less. Spread the word, please!! :cool2:

My wicked 55" and 66" box blade shipped in 17 days. I thought my shipping email was a mistake. Looks like the new facility is paying off.

I'll keep sending them when I get more. I use the tractor to move all the firewood I process from the logs to the split and dried stuff in the picture above. Once the ground freezes I have a lot of wood to cut and stack. Me and the two labs are ready for an actual winter.

Question, why is the back center section of almost all grapples open?
If it is for visibility then wouldn't expanded metal welded in this area provide protection for the tractor and still provide visibility once the bucket is lifted above the hood?
One of the first things that disturbed me while using a grapple was a limb headed straight for the hoses while clearing brush.
drew a circle around the area in question.

Ever since I had a bit of debris flip open my SSQA lever on my Kioti where I wound up dropping the entire grapple into a slash fire, Everything Attachments has been offering struts in the open area as a safety against what happened to me. These days my slash fire burns go much more smoothly.

Amazing how fast an open fire can burn a pile of dry debris. Nice!

Visibility and weight savings are the two reasons I know of. Adding expanded metal to the tractor grille guard has been a very popular, widespread mod.

Would be a nice photo op for a wicked grapple ;-)...if you need some testing and advertising?!?
Own a 55” WG for a smaller tractor and love it!

Wicked Root Grapple version 1.0 at work (which is also kind of a demo of how to grapple stuff).
