If you want my recommendation, go for "Lincoln Lubrication 1134 Heavy Duty".
Thanks for the info on the Dewalt gun. Might wait to find one on sale as I can make do with my mini pistol grip type.
No way I would buy a pneumatic gun. Would rather pump by hand than start the compressor and deal with a long hose.
I grease 3 tractors with three cutters at the same time. A pneumatic grease gun with 100 hose is the Schizzle!
Having the hose on a reel is a big time saver as well. With my luck a cordless would run out of juice 3 zerks before I'm done greasing. Pneumatic is the way to go if you have a lot of fittings to grease.
I’m disappointed in Makitas recent development. I have several Makita pieces and I’ve thought they were top quality for their time. I’d have no hesitation buying more. But I’ve had to switch to Dewalt. I’ve probably got a dozen dewalt pieces not made by Makita..
Edit: I've looked at getting a cordless just because, but since I mostly have Makita cordless tools, and Makita hasn't come out with a cordless grease gun in the US as of yet......
