Eric, glad you had fun with that, looks like good seat time.
79 hot degrees at 5am, going to 96 today. We're having a heat wave...
headed out at daylight, shortly, to work in garden for a little bit, before it gets too hot.
then need to sharpen mower blades, not much else planned, possible showers/storms this afternoon in that high heat,
we could use a few inches of rain; I expect to make it rain by putting on the garden sprinklers. That worked perfectly last time, rained
like mad later in the day.
BEF, my our hearts go out to you stuck in that hospital, just know you have company.
Sure wish I could give you a cup of fresh brew to start your morning.
Thank goodness for laptops/smart phones to stay connected.
Oh those horrible nurses who constantly wake you up, temps every two hours, BP every two hours, etc.
My late wife used to be an IC hospital nurse, the stories she would tell...they had no choice, if doc ordered it, wakey wakey.
I have always found bribing the nurses worked wonderfully, and with food of course, chocolate donuts working very well, a box of
Godiva chocolates, etc. If you want them to come quickly when you push the button, gosh those donuts sure worked well for me.
Particularly on night shift, when things often go wrong, and few people around to help.
I've been doing this for many years, donuts, chocolate, veggies. Most of the nurses eat on the run, very poor eating habits btw...,
and food is always welcome.
Have a great Thursday.
