LA304 Loader on a B7100

Hi.
Has anyone ever shoehorned a LA304 loader onto a B7100HST?

I picked the loader up yesterday - too good of a deal to pass up even it if I can not make it fit.

I have to fabricate a subframe for the tractor to mount the quick attach arms to, but a quick look at the boom arms tells me they are not wide enough to clear the big stock air filter breather. I was thinking about taking the big breather off and installing a KandN style foam filter like I use on my snowmobile.

I do not know too much about the fuel/intake systems on these engines - does anyone think using that type of filter could lean the mixture out too much and cook my engine?

Try turning the breather to be facing back and adding longer 90 deg. rubber hose as far back as needed. You well have to make a bracket to hold it.

it's Not possible to lean out the air fuel mixture on that diesel... it Always operates with all the air available and only varies the amount of fuel... I would not use a K&N type of filter, not an adequate filter for a diesel engine.

Ok. Thanks for the info regarding the fuel/air.
With regard to the filter, I知 guessing your concern is that the foam doesn稚 have a small enough micron measurement, rather than the physical shap/size of the filter. If I found a sommelier size pleated paper/fiber filter I wouldn?t foresee an issue?
