Made my order on 10 April. Called after 1 week to check on it and was told it would ship out the next. Called Thursday of the second week and was told maybe the 3rd week. Called today (3rd week) and was told I’m on his “short” list and he was going to have to check with the “factory” and see what was going on. Said he would contact me back this afternoon with an answer. No call back...... I’m planning on calling tomorrow and canceling the order. Everything I have heard, the PTB is great, but the lack of concern and no customer relations have ruined the deal for me. I’ll just use the money and get a grapple instead.......

just talked with a guy who answered the phone. obviously hasn't started to work on my order, but said it would ship by next friday. we will see. I'm getting the PTB with space on each end to mount the 3" edge tamers. when i had him on the phone, he was wondering out loud if that can even be done(it can, i've seen video of people using them together). that's how i know my build hasn't even started.
i ordered that, and the hydraulic testing kit.

Patience is a virtue. Living in Alaska teaches one to either order things early or be prepared to hurry up an wait. Amazon changed that, to some extent but they won't ship everything. Most small companies are at a great disadvantage and communications and manufacturing may lag during peak demand. Give them a chance and you may be impressed with the quality.

I bought some pallet forks, cause I had an immediate need for some. I was looking at some other design, but since they were several weeks out I went with the BXPanded. I read reviews talking about super quick shipping and was sold.

Ordered Monday, emailed them Tuesday, no response yet. Think they would at least get back to you with an ETA or something.
Love the PTB, very nice addition. I took it off and couldn't wait to get it back on. Definitely worth the money!
Sounds like they need to get some more employees, start filling orders.

I might have to look at a different option for some pallet forks.

Got an email of shipping confirmation yesterday. Supposed to be here Tuesday. I can understand production running behind, but there is no excuse for not answering the phone, not returning messages, or not answering emails. Communication goes a long way. A small blurp on the website stating production is being delayed due to high volume orders would at least give someone a heads up. Or at least tell someone on the phone up front “expect shipping to take a minimum of 3 weeks”. Just saying.....

that makes complete sense, I was looking for an option that would ship immediately, the reviews I read and the website lead me to believe that would be the case.
A note on the website explaining the time frame would have been helpful for me.

Even an automatic reply on email / voicemail saying we are behind and we will get back to you as soon we can be something...

The reason I found this thread was because I was wondering if bxPanded was out of business, and I was an idiot for ordering from a company that went out of business months ago :)

Glad to hear that I might get my order or a refund, it would be nice to have an ETA however.

I have never seen (in person) the PTB that I ordered, but everyone that has one loves it, so I will wait till it comes. Very anxiously. :laughing:

I've seen this problem repeat itself, small company Product gets discovered by the internet then it can't keep up the demand. The owner is not tech savvy web site gets out dated and office help isn't adequate. Yes there are lots of solutions but probably one guy who can't delegate in charge. Even if he would just sign on and post the lead times. FitRight hyd tells you up front I'm 19 weeks behind

Just got off the phone with them. My order was on April 13, I was told it would ship by Friday. I was also told it was going to ship last Monday so I'll just have to wait and see what happens.:confused3:

I might have a little more understanding if they would hold off charging my credit card until they ship. But they are more than willing to take payment at the time of order.

Ordered mine April 10. Arrived today after 3 phone calls. Funny thing was, I received a call back today from the guy I talked to the second time saying it was shipping today and I should have it Friday! I had already received an email last week with a tracking number. I told him I was expecting it today within the next hour and he proceeded to tell me it had just shipped today and I should have it Friday! I didn’t correct him. It seems as though this thread has morphed in to an "instant gratification" rant. These small manufacturing companies are not Amazon. They must go manufacture your tooth bar or whatever. Patience people!

I am a toolmaker by trade and have been in manufacturing and prototyping for several decades so I am well aware of the process.
Its better to quote a longer delivery time and be early than the other way around.

Agree. Communication would definitely improve the angst. People and businesses are losing communication skills and are suffering for that. There should be a grassroots effort with management to improve those skills. Customer Service should be a top priority of any business and communication is the key to that.

There are some people that will never be pleased but most people are reasonible, especially when you are honest with them. Sometimes an "act of God" happens where it's out of everyone's control and you just have to deal with it.

Where I use to work we manufactured engineered systems (finishing powder coating equipment) for big pocket customers. Part of the package was guaranteed 24 hour up time or we pay the customers down time. Someone got the bright idea to NOT stock some key parts to reduce overhead. Customer went down and they needed a unique part. We had a sales guy stop in and did not understand why a part was not available. I explained that ordering in tool steel, machining it, having it ground, heat treated then plated and lapped takes time and we do not have a machine to set the amount of parts required , push a button and it falls out the other side complete.

I told him that machine is between our time travel machine and the one that turns straw into gold.

^^ I'm not sure what any of that has to do with not answering phones, not replying to emails and not keeping track of orders in process and ship dates. I don['t see anybody saying they want to order after noon and have it arrive the next morning. They just want to be kept informed.

Yes they are hurting business especially repeat, but even large ones screw that up this up home depot showed not shipped, truck company says got large tailgate only package for you. Walmart did double ship. Since they have not responded here, I'd say overwhelmed
