Ok, maybe you know of this dealer. Since I don't have a clue about the dealer I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that they are not committing fraud.

I don't know them. But if LS knows nothing about his issues (which I'm betting on), two people are at fault--- this guy and the dealer. After the second time of them not fixing I would be contacting LS directly and/or my next closest dealer.

I skimmed some of the videos. He makes it sound like he's dealing directly with LS. I don't know if LS works that way, or did at some point before switching to a traditional dealer network.

If you listened to him he tells you why. Sometimes the tractor won't raise rpm's. He kept it near empty for some of the video because he got it back from the dealer that way and It started acting up again right away and he knew he had to send it back. He said he was sick of sending the tractor to the dealer on full and getting it back on empty. That XR3135 of his is a lemon, they need to replace it.
I agree the tractor or the dealer is a lemon, and since we'll never know the whole story or all the details we won't be able to determine which is the lemon. Not knowing the cause of a problem and throwing new parts on it in hopes it gets corrected is not a good dealer.

Then how can you say:
No, he said the dealer replaced them. Unless we were at the shop at the same time, another BS story from THE DEALER.

I'd be wanting to see some correspondence with LS to prove that they were actually communicating the warranty repairs and what action was really taken that LS is aware of. That's the only way he's going to get a replacement or satisfaction.

If you don't know them, how could you have been there?

This is why I don't do videos. We have nothing to balance them against and nothing to refer back to if the guy suddenly deletes it all. For all we know the guy has a personal beef over something else.

There are some terrible design in that particular LS tractor. That would concern me with that brand.

I wasn't there--ever. Geesh. My point was unless the OP or you or I were there when the repair was made, or he has documentation of communication of warranty request to/from LS, it's all hear say from the dealer. As I stated in a later post, I think the OP and the dealer are both the weak links in this fiasco.

My sister and BIL made this same mistake with a 5th wheel camper from Forest River over a roof leak that went on for couple years. Dealer say they fixed it, still leaking, say they fixed it, you get the picture. After finally reaching out to Forest River rep, they had no documentation or communication of this issue- not one. DEALER never filed any paperwork and of course, my gullible sister never got any paperwork for the repairs to prove to FR that it had been returned that many times. Issue was resolved quite quickly after FR was involved directly.

did you watch the video? Oil dipstick location, vibration, wiring harness rubbing, coolant overflow bottle spilling out due to vibration, etc.

The sad part is the guy upgraded to a bigger model and is still having issues.

Before I bought my first tractor I did a lot of research, watched a lot of videos, and decided that to minimize risk I would spend a little more buy a Kubota.

Now my problem is did I buy big enough.

No. The answer is always no. There's someone out there with a Quadtrac wishing he'd gotten the 620 instead of the 500.

As stated in a previous post, the owner definitely does some things that contribute to the problem. Who knows about the dealer? Are they truely doing the part replacement they say? Is the tractor a lemon? Maybe. He refers to "the company".... Never the "dealer" or "LS rep" .....who specifically is he talking to...he mentions "the mechanic".

This is also his second LS tractor. Apparently he had "issues" with the other model too. That one DID NOT have emissions on it. ....but he still had problems with it and then "upgraded" to this one. Almost sounds like owner induced issues. As far as vibration...my small little Yanmar motor shakes like all get out at idle...purrs like a kitten at 2K rpm...So does the JD 1025... Same motor.... So does the JD 2025... Same motor... Just sayin... He's running / working it at 800-1000rpm....??

As to making a decision to buy an LS or not, based on these videos....well ..... Thats not being realistic. Talking about plastic...anyone go to a JD dealer recently? There's more metal on my little LS than on the JD's 2-3 sizes bigger. All manufacturers try to make the profits by "cutting corners" or using cheaper materials.

There are 1000's of happy, satisfied LS customers out there...along with 1000's of satisfied owners of other brands.

You only hear about that "one bad apple", not the 1000's of good ones
