Good morning!!!!

Got to 8° just before sunrise, 23 now, not expecting much more, bright sun and lighter winds make it tolerable, but the wind is picking up in the last few minutes. Garbage haul in my near future.

Might go to falcon hunting event Saturday, a friend has a red tail and some smaller hawks, the smaller hawks hunt in a team with a Jack Russell, I want to see how that works!

Are you old enough to remember the Madras plaid shirts that were popular back in the 1960's??

Those ...... and English Leather.

Yes sir, don’t wash them with your whites! And I still had English Leather in the 70s, and Jade East, and Hai Karate.

I had Madras shorts and pants!

I had forgotten; now I remember. Beatle boots and skin tight pants were popular too if my memory serves me. EL tasted terrible:rolleyes:

Good morning to all! Low of a balmy 22F, going up to some T-shirt weather at 44F. (Well I'm sure some folks would think so). No precep, just sunny skies until Saturday.

Sandals? ... NO WAY for me! Like Don, I mean GW, BW, GD,.... I can't stand the 'thingy' between the toes. I have never worn sandals in my life. Lightest footware is running shoes. Most of the time is hiking boots or logger style boots.

Just got back from PT. I had the previous comments typed up before I left this morning, but forgot to finish and post. Anyway, no more ultrasound therapy, they hit the max number of treatments. Now they're going to try acupuncture next week. I spent a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes on hold yesterday with the ortho doc office trying to find out if I have to make an appointment with the rheumatologist or they are going to do it. The WC adjuster finally got back to me and said they cannot make any medical decisions....kind of an oxymoron being they have to approve ALL Treatments....oh well, just another waiting game...

Drew, you have to get a drone... Don't let the garden bedwetter outshine you with those aerial videos!

Everyone have a great day, stay warm and safe! Prayers sent

My son has offered me one of his older drones, about 2 years old, but I can’t really fly it on my property because of the airport.

Randy- I hope you go to the falconry event. It reads to be interesting. I respect your decision to avoid flying a drone in limited/restricted areas, sadly many owner/operators do not give a squat about responsible piloting.

I prefer that my feet never see the light of day. I rarely wear my Tevas which are as close as I will get to toe and sun exposure.

Ted- Good luck with the insurance. It sucks when some technocratic paper shuffler hiding in some closet/cubicle somewhere is making the decisions which should be made by treating practitioners, like # of treatments/ICD Code #. My insurance would not cover acupuncture. It got expensive after a while. Acupuncture worked for me with the neuropathy/pain. Again- good luck.

Tomorrow my knee will learn its fate.

It was -3F for a low this am. 17 right now will be the high most likely.
I hope all who need healing experience the relief they are seeking. Jay- I hope that your news about the knee is as promising as possible tomorrow.
Frank

Interesting visit from duct sealer sales guy. Going to get it done.
They ask you to not be in house during the process. There is a slight smell similar to Elmers's wood glue. But normally is ok after a couple of hours.
Before sealer is applied ducts are cleaned and tested for any major leaks greater than 5/8". If larger a camera is brought in to find where leak is. There will be additional cost if a large repair is required. The test checks to see how many CFM's are required to pressurize duct system. Typical for a home like ours is 1000 CFM's before sealing. After sealing is less than 200 CFM's. Not sure I will get my money back in fuel savings. But should give a better comfort level.
My house is 1800 sq ft. With all ducts in ceiling.
For reference 1000 CFM leakage is equal to a 200 sq in hole.
Cost is less than $2k. Which is within the budget I set up to improve air distribution in house for heat and AC.
Scheduled to have this done in April. Date I picked. No $ deposit required. Company has been around for awhile. Located a couple miles from my home.
