63°F and .20 inches rain

A big nothing day yesterday as I just gave in to my sore throat and feeling lousy. More energy conservation today as I do feel a tad better.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Mostly, hope the wifey gets better every day. Not being able to breathe is serious stuff.

Rip, glad you are able to get back to work.

Drew, love the pic.

The oldest daughter pulled weeds in the garden for an hour. It had rained and her mud boots were caked like Rick's tractor. Need a few weeks of no rain to get it tilled.

Cleared out a bunch of shipping boxes that tend to stack up. Cleaned off the old speedaire compressor some. There were no air filters on it. Not sure how to proceed. I would like to put new rings and reeds in it. Have to weigh costs. Can get a new pump for about $199

Rick, hope that consolence works.

Ears are ringing, still have lingering deep cough. Might go to doc this week.

Have a blessed day all.

Mike- Good news on the return to work.

David- I am happy to read that you are feeling better and plan to take it easy today.

Kyle- I hope that you are able to shake your upper respiratory illness w/o the need to see a doctor.

It has been lightly snowing most of the day here. 30ºF with nice sized flakes falling; it's starting to cover the ground. My big plan for today is to cut up a boneless pork roast to make stuffed pork chops and brine the chops for tomorrow' dinner.

25 early, 56 now, up and down. Nice warm up in about ten days.
The coldest I’ve seen here was -12 about 5-6 years ago, that was followed by a -9 the next night. Both were dead calm nights with not a cloud in the sky and snow cover.

Kyle, there was an old saying, when you can’t breathe nothing else matters. It’s very true, hope you guys get well quickly.

Prayers for you guys.

Ron, I've got two similar ones. One is anvil style, the other are bypass. Both have adjustable telescoping handles. I primarily use mine to cut yaupon growing up around the base of oak trees. Anything bigger than about 1 1/2" I just use my 40V HF chain saw.

I'll take some pics later, don't remember the brand but, bought both online.

Ron, my bypass loppers are Garrett Wade;

The anvil loppers are Groundwork brand. I think I got them at Tractor Supply but they're no longer on the website.

I prefer the bypass loppers as I think they cut better and extend out a bit longer.

I use my Worksharp to touch up the blades.

Yea, but that's another day away....I would probably forget by then!

The way things have gone lately, I may, too, forget. But thanks, anyway.
