Got ahold of Apple. Turns out there is a setting in "Screen Time" that can remove "Touch ID & Passcode" from setting screen. Turned that nuisance off.
BTY there is another update out. :confused2:

Frustrating when a new "feature" is really a nuisance. Just to rub salt in an open wound, they enable the "feature" by default and there's no release note to read to tell you how to turn it off. Or even worse, there's no way to turn it off. Makes it pretty clear that Apple's cutting corners in the QC department, as they have been since Job's died.

Reminds me of when several of our New England group spent a winter just south of Chicago working a construction project in 1984-1985. One Sunday, windchills were -40 to -50 and my S10 Blazer was the only vehicle that would start. I spent the day bundled up in all my winter gear jumpstarting the rest of the group so we could get together to watch a football game. That was the year the Bears were unstoppable.

The coldest I’ve ever seen here was 11 below in 1977 I believe. One time at snowshoe they ran us off the slopes due to windchill of negative 15 to 20, never felt anything colder

Anyone using Ratchet Loppers. The demo at home show sure looked good.

Read the one and two star reviews at Amazon. If those complaints don't put you off too badly, they might be right for you. If you use Prime for the purchase, you can send 'em back within 90 days and Amazon will pick up the return shipping. Almost can't lose with that deal as long as you don't wait too long to return 'em.

Ron, I've got two similar ones. One is anvil style, the other are bypass. Both have adjustable telescoping handles. I primarily use mine to cut yaupon growing up around the base of oak trees. Anything bigger than about 1 1/2" I just use my 40V HF chain saw.

I'll take some pics later, don't remember the brand but, bought both online.

Mr. Buppies, I have a question for you about asphalt millings. Our gravel road is in dire need of re-stoning. Most of the surface stone has been mixed with fine clay silt (probably due to a neighbor using an old buldozer to attempt to smooth it a couple of years ago). The road is now flat (no crown) so any moisture sits on it turning it into muck. The base rock is still there under this 3-4" of muck. I can get 24 yd loads of screened asphalt millings or 24 yds of crushed concrete for the same price. I was thinking to go with 2-3" of the crushed concrete first, then maybe this summer after its packed a bit, top it with the millings. Is this a good plan?

A little further info, we won't be cutting out any of the existing stone/dirt mix, just building up on top of it, 10-12' wide. Building a crown in the new, digging drainage swales on both sides. Will maintain the crown until packed.

LS I know very little about concrete crushed millings can be used as an effective stone base provided they are fine enough you don’t want big chunks. Have you thought about elevating the road so that it slopes one side or the other no more than 2 percent will achieve water flow off of road surface and in my feable mind easier to achieve using the 12 foot width with a crown. Doing it this way will also maintain water flow after snow plowing as you will not remove the crown

There is away to turn it off. Scroll to bottom of "Screen Time" setting page.
