I was trying to order some Diagonal Cutters in Eugene Oregon, at the place I was working, and made the innocient mistake of saying we needed some "Dikes." I had no idea that this was politically incorrect at the time. Even if I knew my Boss was a gay female - I personally never made the connection of the tool's short hand reference and how it might be offensive. Oh?, we have to go to the office and have a discussion? Which we did, with the Boss, and it was an interesting conversation which I won, cause "dike" predates the way it was latter used in urban langauage. LOL.
I was still on a Poo list ever after, till I quit. They suspected that I had a predudice: Which I did not.
