The local weather man said this was the biggest December snow here in over 100 years...everything is pretty much shut down. I saw a snow plow going down the road about an hour ago, though, so things will improve, but one weather lady said she thinks schools may not open until late this week, since it will be in the lows 20's at night and refreeze the melted snow. It almost seems as though the newer buses can only drive on totally dry pavement. They actually closed schools due to rain one day last year...they may have to shift the school year to summer rather than winter.
Okay, I admit that safety is paramount.

Ron, we never see gray foxes here, but red foxes are very common.
