I have an opportunity to purchase this used cutter.. It might be a steal.. I even have the complete svc history.. But..... Is she too big for Kubota M6060. I知 thinking the weight for sure.. Maintaining pasture with grass and light brush...

Thoughts? Since it says minimum HP rating = 50, and you might get it at a great price, I say go for it. Worse case is you don't like it and you sell it for what you have in it. But that's just me, spending your money. ;)

Edit to add... I've researched those Modern Ag mowers in the past and they have some very nice features.

Wow, that is heavy. According to that sheet and google it is 1600lbs too heavy. It weighs almost as much as your tractor. HP seems to meet the minimum.

On the bright side, you can get aircraft tires for it. :D

It is heavy, but his tractor probably weighs 2,000 more than this. Why do you say it is 1600lbs too heavy?

Its gonna be all your tractor wants and in thick stuff , it will be a challenge

Looking at the picture more closely I see you just drag it around so my thinking is flawed. I was figuring it was a 3ph type. Still looks quite big at 12' wide.

I would go for it. I have a 7040 and pull a ten foot cut simi mount bush hog. It cuts all but the thickest with ease. If I hit a tuff patch I just slow down a little.

I appreciate it..
I’ll see what happens.. Also considering a 10’ bushhog 3210.. going to inspect in next week

You just have to be rational in what you expect,,
Here is my 90 inch mower on my little JD 4105,,,

Pulled the trigger on the 10.6’ Bushhog.. After giving her several hrs of TLC, put her to work..
Previous owner hasn’t serviced the gear boxes. Used 5 gal of gear oil running and draining after it would get warm.. Oil seems still milky even after 5 drains and re-fill. By the way, sucking the oil out with outboard engine oil sucker tank.. Im thinking I cant get all the fluid out.. I looked underneath and I don’t see any drain plug above the stump jumper..
Other than that.. My kubota can handle her very well..

I run a 96 inch I picked up used ( twice) on my 70 hp tractor. Weighs 2400 pounds. Perfect match.20180911_172837.jpeg

you wont run a 12 foot mower on a 60hp tractor around here unless its dry burnt off august and you are clipping the tops at 12 inches tall - I run a 6.5 on my 65hp and its all it wants in 2nd gear if I am mowing it down to 4 to 6 inches - and that is only mowing at about 2.5mph - you couldn't get me to put anything less than 100hp PTO on a 15' batwing mower around here unless I was topping grazed pasture.
