I told you it would take a cheater pipe.... Glad you got them off. I have to watch it to keep myself from cursing taking those confoundit things off.

Storms have for 3 days now, SPLIT, gone past, and re-formed. No rain other than a few wayward drops. I guess we need a hurricane....

Kyle, now that you bring it up, I did do a considerable amount of talking not suitable for public consumption in my other attempts. But this last attempt was all positive.

I expect we'll go before the end of September...I'm glad you mentioned the road closure...didn't know that! Would have been a real bear driving two hours to a closed road!

Well, not a total write off of the day...picked up and mounted the AF11e (84") plow



Chipper is still on the 3PH. Used it a couple weeks back and haven't needed the tractor since.
I reckon I'll rig the blower on the 3PH in a few weeks...
The plow is manual angle since I use the rear remotes for the blower chute. Depending on use, I might consider adding hydraulic angling next year.


Before anyone asks...that is a rubber "wear" bar on the bottom of the blade. Optional and easier on the asphalt then the steel wear bar (which I have too). This blade does, as I'd written, angle, but it has a provision to "lock" the blade (that is, prevent tripping) so it can be used as a "bulldozer" blade too. Doubt I'll ever use that option.

Everyone from northern Florida to New England better be getting ready for this storm, it’s not going to miss. If I was betting I’d say it may well follow something close to Hugo’s path. Buppies is smarter than I am, but my gut and the data I can find are not looking good for us.

Good evening all. 73F this morning, overcast, light breeze. Wind picked up, shift to north then dropped off again, rain began about 8:45AM, ended about 2 PM, high temp was 75F ( not a mistype!). Bike ride this morning, rain shortened to 35 miles, new chainrings worked, no chain jumping. Worked on figuring out correct ball mounts for trailer for truck and van. Did some more sand burr pulling while ground is soft, need to get pre-emergent on the lawn to slow the rascals down.
