68°F and light fog again this morning, going up to 85° today. 30-40% chance of rain later this afternoon, and a 70%-ish chance of storms overnight tonight.
"Alcopops" and "suckers with liquor" ... starting to remind me of jello shots, which I am in no hurry to remember. Some of my more entertaining stories started with those things.
That's a fun-looking micro-bus, Kyle. I like it. RNG mentioned the Type III. I had a '74 and a '73 Super Beetle when I was younger. The '74 had the semi-automatic transmission. Great little car. The '73 was a piece of junk I bought for $400. I've always wanted a Type III Notchback, though. No idea why, but I just love the look of those cars. Pricey when you can find one in decent shape, even back in the '90s.
Landscape contractor is supposed to be starting the next phase of his work today. We're adding an additional retaining wall across the stairs from the new one to aid in rocking the propane tank area. With the slope and adjacent stairs, it's just too challenging to keep that spot mowed. He's also supposed to pour a concrete pad along the front of the basement porch, five feet wide and the length of the porch. I'm not convinced that part will get done this week based on the weather forecast.
Are you singing tonight, Don?
