Oldest Cummins Engine in the World!

I took this video a couple days ago at the American Truck Historical Society National show. Cummins had a display at the show and were running this engine occasionally. A real piece of history!

Yes that is correct. Similar to a hit and miss engine. Has a water jacket around cylinder and is fed by water hopper. Slowly evaps off so it must be replenished.

I’ve been to many engine shows but never seen one of the these Cummins. A really interesting piece.

That's pretty cool. In my previous job, I worked directly with Cummins on about all of their engines. All the way up to the 120 liter Hedgehog!
