I’m eying a R530...any official opinion on how well an EA grapple would hold up to it?

I have your 6ft rotary cutter. What is the minimum PTO HP I can get by with your cutter? My tractor is crapping out and I'm thinking about down sizing.

It's one heck of a strong grapple for the intended tractors, but the R530 is a different animal...
It's a 9,000+ pound machine with a 6,000+ pound tipping load and 7,700 pound breakout force.
All that means it's a VERY capable machine, but good common sense goes a long way.
I wouldn't be concerned with simply lifting anything.
Just you use it responsibly....don't aggressively push difficult/stumpy/rocky ground...don't pry/grub in awkward directions...twist could also be a concern with articulated machines.

Our 6' Xtreme Rotary cutter is quite hefty with some good sized blades and blade pan, so I'd want to stay around 30+ PTO horsepower to efficiently run it.

Seems like EA could swing an OEM deal with the manufacturers. You do have both the cool and wow factor locked up. To a large extent, who uses their bucket as much as a grapple? Get some orange paint and sell them to Kubota and Kioti. Then red, green, blue... and you are all set.

I'm sure we could easily sell them to manufacturers and have even been approached recently. BUT, selling to dealers would really go against a big part of our business model. Factory Direct. No Dealers, No Distributors, No Outside Sales Reps, No Printed, TV, Magazine, Billboard advertising.

I do not foresee us making one in the near future, but we do have some great offerings by Construction Attachments(Ted's bro's company) and WR Long!
