It's been written in stone with CF debris parts.... My "blood" is tattooed in those inscriptions somewhere.
Vortex ring state = My quadcopter fell through its own 4 different "prop washes" on rapid descent = flight controller and operator overload, as a cause for the "hard landing."
The important thing is that your P3 is still flyable. My build could probably not even to be able to do a "touch and go" w/o some (probably essential) part breaking off somewhere.
You have some seriously beautiful scenery in HI. A P3 could make for some really nice aerial videos.
The ability to pilot a "drone" for the common good is a good thing with benefits for all.
