I wasn’t worried about the exact price, I just didn’t need super heavy duty for what I’m going to be doing. I have enough adjustment to make it work for now so I can start the job. They’re going to send the right one and issue a pick up. For the price I might keep it for the Cub Cadet.

not a good morning, useless follow up appointment for a doc who said he couldn't help me last time but they made the appt.
and after an hour past my appointment time sitting in a room full of sick people, I left.
Huge ortho practice, I'm headed to the next smaller one.
I think we can vote with our ballot, our wallet and our feet. Today I chose my feet.

But a great afternoon. Did a rough hilling for two hours, ground was too wet but maybe after one more pass tomorrow it will be ok. Then the rains come in.

Do you have to hold the button the entire time it pours?

Yes, but it痴 not bad. I put a old towel on the hood of my Kubota, hoist the can up, then tilt it until the little hook thing on the spout rests on the edge of the tank opening. Once I get it up there, I don稚 have to hold it up, just push the button for the nozzle. My neighbor has the same can, lifts it up with a hoist, then does the same thing I do.

Rain or showers in forecast for next 8 out of 9 days. Tis the season for mold.
Speaking of which my next door neighbor, the fireman, has started a powerwashing business on the side. Almost all the firemen have second jobs of some kind.
So before all this rain he was thinking of starting tomorrow on my white plastic fencing out near the road, where it's in shade almost all the time and grows a crop of mold twice a year.
Last year i did it all myself and would like some help this year. Convenient he's in the business, and he can practice on my fences which are indestructible.
He's unsure of how to estimate the job so he wants to time himself and see how many sections of fence front and rear he can do in an hour. Then he knows how to bid the job.

Must admit I breathed a big sigh of relief a few minutes ago. Phone rings, it's the buyer of my rv, a day late calling me back. Normally nothing good comes of this...
He wants to come over tomorrow with a bank check and get the title so he can get tags going, insurance inforce, and this crazy man tells me he's driving straight from my place Saturday morning to a rv campground across the Neuse River from New Bern. I'm thinking, you've never driven one of these, ever... and you are headed straight for the park. Ok dokey. No take it home and figure it out...and of course it's supposed to be raining all weekend, horrible time to get first impressions of rv'ing. Plus if it's raining hard he has impaired visibility, and while he says he has experience with large commercial trucks. And yet part of me wants to cheer him on for the adventure. While the insurance underwriter in me goes into a serious cringe.

Needless to say the checks will be in bank tomorrow afternoon.
And I will double check the air in the tires for him. After that, my job is to wave.

34 today. 30 currently. Don’t know if snow will hold together long enough for us to get our forecasted dusting.

Youngest son goes in at 6:15 in the morning for tubes. Hopefully home before lunch.
Prayers for your son's procedure.
Diesel (on road) is now 2.79 here

I have two of those no spill cans, they work great. I got them at tractor supply also. Looks like 6-12 for us tm.

I haven't seen anyone reply about the video with "No Spill Jill". Wonder what her previous occupation was? :)

5 Gallon No-Spill Gas Can at Tractor Supply Co.

RNG, get a dremel after those casting flashings. Should have been done when the guy was machining them.

Drew, when I was 16, I broke my knee. The 2 orthos in town shared an office that had room for maybe 6 people to sit. I'd walk in there with my crutches, and have to stand for an hour waiting my turn. And if you didn't check in on time, your appointment was either cancelled or delayed so nobody could "game" their crappy system. Man, would my leg swell and ache when standing room only with about 20 others. Each of us looking at each other and shrugging like WTH. There were only 2 orthos in town at the time. Things got better a few years later when a few more came in to practice locally.

Best working fuel jug I’ve ever owned. Ordered two nozzles today to go on other cans.

Stainless steel safety wire and a good pair of Vice Grips, Drew. Try it sometime, you'll like it!

I've got a Clamptite tool that uses safety wire to make very strong clamps. It's a bit finicky at times but does a nice job, and makes VERY tight clamps that I don't have to worry about loosening or rusting.
