Yea, the steady hand and sharp parts are my problem LOL

David, I’ve got a Bosch Colt and a Dewalt Compact. I got the Colt first then, bought the Dewalt because I really like its plunge base. Both are way easier to be precise that a full size router. I actually bought the Dewalt to cut some shallow mortises.

Went out and blew some leaves with the pull behind blower, driveway was covered after the rain.
Four inches of rain sucked up like it was never there. The fields are burping contentedly.
A bit chilly in the shade but delightful in the sun, just having the bright sun on one's face on a cold day sure does feel good.

Thats how ours was. Gone except for shade areas.

You guys, up North, need to 鍍rain your snow like we do in South Texas. It doesn稚 snow on driveways and it all disappears in 24 hours.

I wouldn't be so quick to bait Mother Nature, Rick. Next time she might decide to dump a couple feet, or perhaps a few inches of ice. But I'm glad you guys got off so easy; most of you probably don't even have a snow shovel!

Nope, no snow shovel, no snow blower, no snow blade. Also no last time to mow for the year, no winterizing equipment, etc.

We miss out on a lot down here.

My brothers live in Iowa so, they share their big snow experiences with me by photos.

Not sure I’ve ever been under $300 except for a very focused, specific purchase trip. Yesterday was more than twice that. My “joy” bar is $500, not usually met. To be fair, we only go maybe 4 times a year, usually based on needing dog food or a holiday. What I save on dog food offsets the trip.

Play date is at other dog’s house. Friends say she likes other dogs coming over. I’d be hesitant to host as our female hasn’t really had that exposure although she’s had 2 litters and 4 other live ins over the years. She would tend to be protective of Kekoa and Simba the cat. Kekoa is used to playing with Kalani and Simba. My concern is Boxers play rough. When we bred and had litters if you heard 5 week old pups playing you’d swear they were trying to kill each other

Yeah, our boxers have played rough, but never did anyone get hurt, at least not vet trip hurt!

We have thought about Costco dog food, but our Sydney is 9 and doing very well on Orijen dog food. Sometimes she gets a little treat, but not often.

We stopped letting our boxer lay out in the sun. We lost out last 2 boxers to cancer, and the vet told us that it started out as melanoma on the side of the belly, then spread to the organs. We think Bubba, our last boy, went from skin cancer to intestinal cancer this way.

I picked up the Ryobi One+ palm router. Seems quite similar to the Rigid. I already have a number of One+ tools so have batteries etc. haven’t tried it yet, but suspect it as described. I have an older (15+ yo) HF plunge router that has served me well, but it sure is heavy and the torque will actually twist it when I turn on.

A friend of mine has router hinge guides he is willing to lend me either today or tomorrow.

Nope, I think it was surprise ours if they ever hurt the other. Always interesting when people who don’t know hear but don’t see them.

Been feeding Kirkland Chicken, Rice, and Vegetables more than 10 years. The dogs appear to do well on it and I like that the processed deposits are less volume than previous diets. Ours are overly spoiled with treats these last couple of years. A Greenie dental every day and a variety of 3 Milkbone treats - the soft and chewy I wrote Don about earlier, some other cylindrical one that has a filling, and regular large Milkbones that my wife usually laces generously with peanut butter.

Thanks for the cancer info. We lost Ruby a few years back at 12yo due to cancer and she loved to lay in the sun. Think she was diagnosed about 2 years prior and in our area there is no treatment. Our priority was her comfort and well being and she went out on her own just a few hours before her final appointment with the Vet.
