We had a bit of snow here this afternoon ... just enough to about halfway cover the drive. It's 26F out there now (but 81F here in the shop ) ... so whatever falls will be sticking.

Same here. About 10 cm. This is the first time in my 12, 10, and 7 year old children's lives that they have got to play in snow. Last snow was Christmas Eve 2004 (wifey was prego with oldest).

The kids are flipping out. Adrenaline is flowing more than the snow.

None, I'm out of the loop. Let me know what you find out. I do know that if a mobile home burns down, there is an automatic visit by a state fire captain or official to determine the cause.

Good evening all. 35F for the start, overcast, and gusty wind. Wind was still noticeable tonight, overcast did cleared late this afternoon, and high temp was 41F, and NO precip. Wood stove has been running since yesterday, still had good coals this morning. Not much going on outside, did some leaf work and got back yard and fence done. Went to the Gainesville Christmas parade, no candy thrown, it was handed out :licking:

Reports from cousins, snowing all the way to North Houston.

The snow has stopped and is now melting, I sure wish I could see it in the daytime. I was scrambling to get the snow covered citrus trees under the porch during the peak of the storm. Schools are already canceling - A Snow Day! Still 32˚. What an unpredicted surprise!!

Good morning. The dog didn't want to linger outside this morning. Wind combined with a mixture of rain that is wannabee snow and snow that is wannabe rain made us both grateful to be back inside.

Here is a tip with a stripped screw using a rubber band or balloon. How to Remove Stripped Screws - YouTube

Thanks Don, will have to try that. Our postman is the best source of rubber bands, though he may struggle to find one that wide. Any more tips - how to stop a youngster crying after I've stolen his balloon ?

40 degrees in light rain, going to rain all day and tonight, over an inch predicted, excellent.
And thank you for keeping the snow in Texas. That really must have been great fun for the kids.

off to the Kubota dealership this morning to get the good/bad news on repairing my Super A. My owners manual came in the mail while I was away, going to take that with me for the discussion. Also a set of 386 Autolite plugs for this tractor, wow are they big plugs, like the tractor built to last.
