Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Anyone try their Quantum 588 Lumen 'Tactical' flashlight (#63934) at $12.99 or $9.99 depending on what page of the same sales ad you look at. Not for 'Tacticool' use, but I need a small, cheap, bright, light for looking in storm manholes while reviewing road work and utility work.

Awesome. This could get you nominated to the hall of fame.
I love it! Why didn't I think of putting a clothespin spring between the two chopsticks???? :D

I was going to carry that power supply externally in a fanny pack. But when I saw how well it fit there .....:scratchchin: Hmmm. Why not! :)

Looks good but you can probably buy the same item with less markup on Ebay. There are hundreds of similar models there, and incredibly inexpensive if you don't mind waiting 2~3 weeks for mailorder from China. You might find one considerably brighter, for that price. I have a couple of similar lights from China - lumens unknown - that work well for seeing wildlife at night.

Brightness not an issue with the Chinese versions. Have had more than a handful different pocket high lumen LED. Probably should have saved and reviewed. What I find is the biggest issue is contacts. I can shake some and get them to go on/off. If they would put a few extra pennies into the switch and springs and make them just a little more rugged they would would be a steal for the price. Shouldn't have to pay $80 plus for a tactical pocket light with high lumens.

Not HF, but, I bought this one last May and its pretty good. Nice and bright.. Hi/Mid/Low, strobe, SOS modes.. The battery it comes with is total crap, however.. Revtronic Rechargeable Flashlight - Super Bright, Waterproof LED Flashlight for Camping and Hiking, 8 Lumens CREE LED Flashlight, Adjustable Brightness - Bundle with USB Smart Charger, 1865 Battery - - Amazon.com

I've two and use them primarily for nuts, bolts, washers etc.
3 Bin Wall Mount Parts Rack

Anyone use the above? I am just a homeowner, not a commercial repair guy. Building up the usual assortment of nuts, bolts, screws and whatsits from projects. Like to keep the left overs organized so when the next project comes along I don't have to run to the hardware store.

So I do not need anything too beefy, it will get some occasional use.

Checking hfqpdb they often have a coupon for $14 http://www.hfqpdb.com/coupons/329_ITEM_30_BIN_WALL_MOUNT_PARTS_RACK_1506754480.3502.png

AND the coupon for $13.99 Harbor Freight Tools Coupon Database - Free coupons, 25 percent off coupons, toolbox coupons - 30 BIN WALL MOUNT PARTS RACK is back today.

Another useful freebie in case you have enough flashlights, tarps and tape measures.

Wow, I can think of 1001 uses for these. Picked one up a couple weeks ago, good thing I did they've been out of stock since.

Was just telling The Wife about these earlier this week. I could use one for the new plumbing closet in the basement. May have to stop there on the way home tonight.

That is a useful one. I cut one out of the recent flyer I got, it's sitting on my desk waiting for the next trip to HF. :D
