warm 55 degrees, rain just finished, only .1 inches. Am just thankful the new grass seed is getting something; I've stopped watering it, put the hoses away. Heading out in an hour for Virginia.
Kyle, my land is flat as a pool table, maybe a one degree slope to shed water to the big ditches. And pretty regularly we all get stuck in the ditches. Pulled my next door neighbor's JD Z turn out of the road ditch last week. The little Massey's first rescue mission. :thumbsup: I really thought about the 4wd but it adds thousands in cost and complexity. I stuck with the 2wd economy

model, but did add cruise control and a sunshade.
I'm going to try this for next year and hope my arms hold up. If not, the handwriting is on the wall.
Hard decision whether to use zero percent financing or get the 500 dollar rebate. Numbers worked out better paying cash. Financing adds over two thousand dollars of KTAC insurance cost on top, and this mower is already covered by my homeowners policy. So between the insurance cost and the rebate, much better deal to sell what honestly are inflated value mutual funds to pay for this (this market is going to tank sometime...) while the market is high. I don't think we are going to go another year without a 20-30 percent pullback in the stock market.
North Korea might cause that with a push of the button. Of course after buying two used tractors this year, I had no plans for this mower.
But I looked at committing for all that landscaping/mowing money for next year and said no.
these are pretty rare mowers on the used market so I know if I went to sell it, someday when I move from here, it will really hold its value.
