Price Check L6060 or L47

Was quoted a L6060HST with 3rd function valve, LA1055 with QA 72" Round Bucket, BH92 with QA 18" bucket for $44,985.00 from another dealer. Reasonable?

My current dealer just dropped an L47 off for the weekend as he thinks it’s better for the land clearing work I️ have on my list and he can get the pricing close. Possible?

I’m also looking at the Kioti NX. Lift capacity, features, and price motivating me.

Trading up from my B2650 which is great machine but I️ need stump pulling power and the ability to do more faster.

No wheeled equipment will be as efficient at pulling stumps as tracked equipment. Consider renting or hiring a TRACKED mini-excavator or a TRACKED bulldozer.

I'd absolutely go for the L47. I'd like to have one, but wonder how the OEM 3 point rear handle a box scraper...

L47 is a lot more bullet proof than the 6060. Not saying anything bad about the L6060 just the L47 is a purpose built wrecking machine. Should last forever if you keep it lubed.

A TBL is an industrial machine, the Lxx60 is an ag machine. The industrial machine will be beefier in general with a stronger loader. The hoe will be a lot beefier. An ag machine will have bigger tires & be more focused on traction.

That's a good price on the L6060. My fully loaded L4060hstc was about that.

I'd have thought about a TBL over my L4060 if it could have been got with a cab.

I’m worried that the woods and a cab just won’t get along. Kubota offers a heated cab on the L47.

Do you Need a small commercial TLB or is an Ag. type tractor going to suit you better in the long run. TLB is not a great Ag tractor, Ag tractor not a good TLB.

There have been a few good threads lately about decisions on cabs. I’m debating the same, cab or no cab, on an L6060HST. I am wanting to trade my current tractor to get a backhoe for land clearing and a grappler for debris removal. I am strongly leaning towards a cab and being more careful. Someone in one of the other threads pointed out that if you get hit with the debris that could break the glass it could injure you anyway. I think my biggest fear is getting up against a tree with the cab but long term once I get things cleared up the cab would definitely be an asset.

I’ve definitely been in some thick stuff I shouldn’t have been in before when clearing with my current tractor and have to admit been whacked a few times for that stupidity.

I’m haven’t looked at the L47. My neighbor from a couple years back before I moved always told me he wanted one of the more commercial machines like that. He always said they beat them up on job sites and they would last forever as others have said.

TLB is not a great Ag tractor.

Ag tractor not a good TLB.
