Comparison TYM 394 VS KIOTI CK4010

I use a 6' brush hog and an auger often. Will the extra 4 or so hours make a noticeable difference?
By auger I assume you are talking post hole digger ?
I run mine at idle or just above a lot of the time- the HP for post hole digger will make no difference.
A 6' brush mower could make a difference, depending on hills, what you are mowing and the speeds you mow.

When I was tractor shopping, I also looked at the two brands that you are currently looking at. The TYM dealer informed me that once his stock of TYM tractors were sold, he would not be selling anymore TYM tractors until TYM got the parts/warranty issues straightened out. He kept telling me how it was a constant fight with them. Now keep in mind, this was 3 years ago. Things may have changed. FYI

This too was a concern of mine, so I talked to a few tym dealers and they had nothing bad to say. In fact at a tym/ls dealer which has been selling both and plenty of them said he preferred dealing with tym, that he can get tym parts next day and ls takes a few. So the parts/service I'm confident in both I'm looking at. My hesitation is kiotis extra hour vs tym's more standard options.

I don't know why you are asking for input. It sounds like you are pretty well set on TYM. I say go for it and report back to us in 5 years. Hopefully, people don't go TY WHO?

Input or experience with either of these. I like both equal. Just happens one have the bells and whistles and the other more horsepower.

If you have a good solid TYM dealer I think it is a no brainer. Dealer network seems to be TYM’s biggest issue. Now that they bought Branson tractors they can figure dealers out. I believe both Branson and TYM will coexist. But I think they will share a platform shortly, but who knows. But rural king is also selling TYM tractors with their name in them.

Of those two brands, I would go with Kioti. Better dealer network. More satisfied customers.

Why do you thinks it's a no brainer?

TYM has built tractors for a while now for Mahindra first the 10 series and now the 25xx series. From what I have seen the 35 hp and larger TYM built tractors do not have many issues. Mahindra has has some issues with their new Mahindra engine emissions which they are working out the issues. TYM uses the Yanmar engines in their 35-55 hp tractors. I think John Deere still uses the Yanmar engines in some tractors. Also you are getting more tractor for less money. If your dealer is solid and has a good relationship with TYM this is TYM’s biggest issue. TYM is expanding. My local John Deere dealer had his dealership taken from him because he was too small. His family had been a dealer for decades.

John Deere uses Yanmar engines in nearly all of their under-50hp tractors and Yanmar used to build quite a few tractors for John Deere.

So almost decision day. Let's pretend both tractor companies are equal as to parts and service. Tractor vs. Tractor. Again I will be bush hogging(6') 20+ acres, log skidding, post hole digging, snow removal, logging road maintenance, and misc stuff around the horse farm and pasture. Let's hear it as I am making my decision very soon.

Let's pretend both tractor companies are equal as to parts and service. .

Why "pretend"? I don't think they are equal given Kioti's more entrenched dealer base. Again, I'd buy Kioti of those two brands.

For the sake of the thread I am looking for a tractor vs tractor comparison, not a company vs company comparison.

With all due respect I believe you have made up your mind in favor of TYM. So why continue to ask? It is not possible (in my opinion) to recommend a tractor independent of manufacturer. If that was the case, why exclude junk 3rd world manufacturers?

Just because I believe in the local tym dealer doesn't mean I'm leaning that way. Believe me, I would buy from them in a heartbeat but my kioti dealer i feel is also reliable. When I started this thread I was set in kioti. Just was hoping for.some current owners of either, or those knowledgeable to help in the decision. So again read what.i am using it for and give me some good advice on these 2 rigs other than dealer network or service . Cause either tractor I'm good with that end.

Huh? Translate that

You pays your money and you takes your chances

It's an idiom meaning that you have several options, and each has advantages and disadvantages. So you pick one, and you put up with the results one way or the other.
