Today’s the day. 34 years married to the love of my life. I teased her that was more than half her life. Only about 48% for me. Thanks for all the kind thoughts.

No plans yet for the day. Did get another area mowed yesterday. I will get breakfast started after my tread climber and bike.

Much cooler, we also need rain.

Mowed most of yard this morning. Cool breeze in the 50's, had to stop and grab a light coat.
Grilled steak for lunch, was supposed to do them last night but i didnt feel up to it.
Oldest son flying in for something monday, then he flies back. Gotta go pick him up later, he's already in atlanta on layover.

Big solar farm wngsprd, they are finishing a small ~60 acre one nearby.

Was working on the shelves on one side of the pantry and needed to find the studs. Went and got a strong magnet and let it stick ti the nails in the drywall. Worked well. Much better than the stud finder that I got for Christmas.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 36° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 68° with a mix of sun and clouds. Got lathe cleaned up as far as I can go until part arrives. Need to get after Trak-Vac and chipper today. Some how it did not get done earlier this week. Leaves are falling at good rate. Luckley there has been enough wind to send many of them to neighbors. Then some afternoon NASCAR.

Drinking first cup here, too. A bit nippy outside at 42, but getting up to 69 today and sunny. Yesterday's weather was a dream...about 70 and breezy.

Wife went back to test drive a Highlander yesterday, and bought it...she totally changed her mind about color preference after seeing it. I used the Costco deal, and then bargained some more and am pleased with the deal. We hung around for a couple of hours while they prepped it and she drove it home. Now I need to detail her 14 year old SUV and sell it. I've never tried to sell on craigslist so will need to study up on what to watch out for. Any advice will be appreciated.

I've got one more load of firewood to bring back to my storage area with the grapple today, so then will start on other chores, like car washing. Any part of the yard I park on will celebrate the water that runs off since it is so dry.

Good morning all. Going to take it as easy as I can today, still plenty to do. 37 this morning going to 67 and sunny. They are calling for frost as far south as WV, seems early but it is that time of year.

Cross slide power drive quit working on my old Craftsman metal lathe.. Ordered a new part to repair. Need to machine some parts for my old orchard/lawn sprayer. I have a few other projects that I hope to get done this winter. Since we are staying home I should have enough time to get them done.

47 high of 69 today another delightful day. Looked at jobs all day yesterday left house at 8:30 got back yesterday evening at 6:30 had a great dinner of chicken and green beans then watched VT lose to Clemson guess are boys aren't quite ready for prime time yet
