3RRL and Farmwithjunk

I was just wondering where these gentlemen have wandered off to. They were here when I left, and gone when I came back. Both had really great posts almost all the time.

Good question. Seems I remember hearing that Farmswithjunk was having health issues. Don't remember hearing anything regarding 3RRL. Hope someone in the know responds.

Farmwithjunk always had a down to earth comment that you knew was correct, due to his extensive farming and mowing experience.
3RRL was a retired machinist that bought 40 acres out in the middle of no-where California and built a very nice house, powered with solar. His posts always included his wife and their "his and her tractors" and the many improvements he made to them.
Great people to have on the forum!

In my tenure here I've watched several very good people disappear from the forum. I think that's as it is in life.

We should only hope that we contribute as they did.

Farmwithjunk was probably gone when I began visiting the forum on a regular basis. People have mentioned him fondly several times though.

I guess I'd better put this in a new message so more people will see it. My memory must have been playing tricks on me when I thought farmwithjunk had died. In 2013 it was reported that he was posting on another site. I also found 3RRL or at least Kind of found him. Haven't actually gotten a reply to my message, but I did find out that he moved, something I never expected to happen.

3RRL, also known as Rob moved from CA to Idaho this year and is loving life. They are either out exploring the area, or working on their new property. I'm not positive if the CA house sold yet or not. They spent the better part of last year re staining the log home and getting it on the market. One of the perks to their new place is an older bull dozer that came with it!!! Last thing I saw them post on FB was that they had bought new waders and fishing gear and where going to go fishing. I think that was a couple days ago.
