The WICKED Root & Debris GRAPPLE!!!!!!!

Island Tractor, I had my dealer install a third function valve before I picked up the tractor several months back. WR Long kit so the control is mounted to the joystick so I'm ready to go there.

You will really like your WR Long 3rd function. I've installed them on both tractors. We have two grapples and a post / tree puller.

Your hand never leaves the FEL control handle.

Yep, ready to go. I installed the JD third function and oil line kits on the tractor earlier this year and have the correct couplers ready to put on the grapple when it gets here.

Here are a few fresh Wicked Grapple reviews from the past couple weeks. :flagday: :applause: :flagday:

Chris from Hickory, NC has the 50" Single Lid Wicked Grappleon his Kubota L3130.

"The 50" Wicked Root Grapple was exactly as advertised and the hydraulic quick connectors (as requested), along with, the quick attach worked perfectly. I have used the grapple to move brush, uproot bushes and move logs. I continue to be impressed with the performance each time I hook it up. The customer service was great and I would highly recommend this Company and grapple!! Thank you!"

Randy from Arkansas has the 60" Dual Lid Wicked Grappleon his Kubota L4060.

My new favorite implement
"How did I ever get by before this? Since receiving my Wicked Root Grapple it has been a total work horse around my two rural properties. I've cleared thickets, cleaned up debris left behind by flooding and cleaned up years worth of downed limbs, trees and undergrowth in about 60 acres of property. All this in about four weeks! The Wicked Root Grapple has taken everything that I and my 40 HP Kubota can throw at it with no complaints and no damage to the grapple or tractor. I have lifted and moved old trees and stumps that challenged the power of the tractor, but not the grapple. The precision and power make this a must have implement for anyone with trees on brush to clear."

Robert from Harrisburg, NC has the 54" Single Lid Wicked Grapple on his Kubota L3901.

Perfect Match for Kubota L3901
"I tried the grappler the dealer recommended when I bought the tractor in 2015. It was heavier and simply could not penetrate the dirt with it's design. It was only good for picking stuff up on the surface. This grappler goes through the dirt just like the videos show. It's lighter so I can pick up more trash too. Much better design than any other on the market. Perfect match for a small tractor like mine. Better design and better price = better value. IMHO."

Bobby from Texas has the 73" Dual Lid Wicked Grapple on his John Deere 5075E.

Greatest tool I have ever had
"This thing paid for itself the first week. I am in the process of clearing timber and brush. I use it to thin out vines and bushes first, then we cut the timber and I move it to a burn pile. This helps to scare the varmints and snakes out of the area, and we do not have to load and unload a trailer. I have several acres to clear, and initially thought it was almost impossible to do. Now I am well on my way to getting the pasture cleared for seeding. I didn't want to use a dozer or muncher do to the mess they create. I needed to get additional pasture fast."

Some more great Wicked Grapple feedback just rolled in!

"I purchased a 60" Single Lid Wicked Root Grapple for my John Deere 3046r and have used it for many hours since the purchase a couple months back. This grapple is absolutely a must for anyone with a compact tractor. Rocks, logs, roots, brush, stumps, timbers, whole trees. You name it, this thing will move it! Always call before you order! These guys know their stuff! Don't just blindly order online."--Kevin from Michigan.

Wow. You just can't make up stuff like this. :D

Richard from SC has our 60" Single Lid Wicked Grapple on his Kioti CK4010.

"Travis, this grapple is 10x better than the Land Pride I looked at in a local Kubota dealer. For the extra $300.00 or so for your grapple is superior in every way. I cannot believe that small sum of money buys so much as compared to the rest. Next on my list is a post hole digger! Thanks for getting it to me ahead of your predicted delivery."

Oh yes, you're in for a TREAT!!
Thanks for joining in the fun. :cool2:
Travis

Hopefully, your experience will be like Steve's from Michigan. He has our 55" Wicked Grapple Rake on his John Deere 1025R.

"I am thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. The people I dealt with answered questions, made suggestions, and produced what was agreed upon. The grapple is exactly as advertised. It hooked up right off the pallet, w/o adjustments. It does everything I've asked. Can't say enough good. Great design, engineering, assembly, product. I'm currently clearing after a select cut on some property I manage, the grapple has made the work as effortless as driving the tractor. The grapple lets me do a days worth of hand labor in a couple hours. Thank you."

I couldn't resist. I had to call today and upgrade my order to the dual lid 72" Wicked Root Grapple!!! Can't wait to hook it up and start the burn pile! I have been out cutting cedars out of the fences and just leaving them for the grapple!

You just wasted some $$$$ and cut your net lift capacity. Got yourself a less maneuverable tractor to boot. Why do Americans always assume bigger is better????

You should be ashamed of this post I.T.
Way to rain on someone's parade.

Pure disrespect, regardless of your opinion. We all have different uses and views on things, and out of the thousands of members here you are the one single most person who tirelessly preaches your opinion as the rule of god.

Frankly, if you consider that he will be using this in his demo work, it's actually hard to argue the fact that for his use a wider dual lid will undoubtedly be more productive.

Okay, get those fingers burning up that keyboard now!

You spend a lot of time on this thread trying to bulldog people on their choice of grapple. I figured you would try to bulldog me and sure enough you are. Good luck with that.

Have you considered that you may be hurting Ted's business and possibly keeping people from posting on this thread?

Ted and Travis, Thank you guys for a great product!!!! I can't wait to get my grapple in action! I have an idea for an accessory for the grapple. Once mine is here I'm going to build it and see how it works. You guys will get the first look or laugh as the case may be.

Come on! This isn't a six year old girl's birthday party. This is an open discussion forum. If I'm the only one who's willing to speak up then so be it. This isn't a snowflake safe zone.

If someone is a demo contractor then a heavy wide dual lid grapple makes sense. Those grapples were designed for skid steers after all. But if like the vast majority of grapple users on TBN he is a private individual who needs an all purpose grapple then he should step back and reconsider why he thinks "bigger is better". Buying a heavier wider grapple might be the right decision but it might also be wrong. The fact that he "upgraded" from his original order suggests that he wasn't so clear on what he needed to begin with. Ordering a 72 dual is like ordering a F350 dually, great if you truly need and will use that capability but just an expensive PITA if your uses include going to the supermarket or commuting or many other tasks that are better done with something more like a Tacoma.

EA makes great grapples. I'm less impressed with their customer education and advice. I appreciate that EA staff have kids to feed and mortgages but over selling is still a mistake. If they want to use this thread to sell grapples then they should be prepared to make the arguments. This is a discussion forum. Their feel good page is on Facebook.

And, as for those "thousands" of grapple owners who remain silent, tell us about why the half or more that own narrower single lid grapples are never complaining or trading up. Tell us why a fair number of wide grapple owners buy a second narrower lighter grapple. Tell us why the OP should pay an extra $500 for the privilege of less lift capacity, less digging power and less maneuverability.

All this time and now you're gonna break it to us like that? :hissyfit: :minniemouse: :cake: :present:

Ted and I see things very much alike when it comes to demanding quality and understanding our customer's wants and needs.
I have my preferences, but I'm always willing to listen to my customer. For his application and demographic, I'm confident he'll be just fine.

BTW, here's my grocery getter!
