Kyle you got a lot done this weekend. I just fixed the self propelled on my walk behind snapper by replacing the drive ring and belt. Now it pulls me like a large dog.
I just noticed a new house on 309 has a white metal roof. It looks pretty like it has just snowed. What part will the insurance pick-up?

I put in a wood stove last year, I used a high temperature silicone, it is red in color.

Yes, I really ought to have waited and got some of that too. Hopefully with this being outside, at the very top of the flue stack, it shouldn't get too hot. Only lighting the fire on cold days may also help it last

Good morning. Not quite the sunshine filled spring morning we enjoyed over the weekend, but plenty good enough. Like many of you, I love spring time, if only plants could take a little longer emerging from their winter sleep and give me chance to appreciate a few more weeks outside without having to start to fight some of them.

Frosts don't seem to have discouraged nettles and creeping Canada thistle from making an appearance. This time last year Ed was telling us how he had kept pesky thistles in check without using chemicals. I will sharpen my cut-off drain spade and try that again this year - all too soon. Thank's Ed.


Hope you get a kinder quote Kyle, metal sounds a good option. If you can't afford to do the entire roof, you could always patch the rest with titanium

45 out this AM. Heading into the 70's. Wet and looks to be foggy. Girls all left last night. And their friends too. Back to quite mode. Looks like I'll be tending the lawn today, moving furniture around, caulking and making a dump run to ditch some old appliances.

54 high of 78 today maybe a thunderstorm very little rain yesterday. Enjoyed bike ride very much although I'm very out of shape. We intend to do this every two or three days, should be good for both of us

Got the Super Spiral tube slide installed yesterday. That was an adventure! It comes of the main deck down to the ground level but since I live on a slope, the bottom is about 2 ft off the grade. I knew that and now will make a landing area in front of it.
3 years old granddaughter shows up Saturday so I gotta stay after it. Used the tractor to carry it around from shop. 95 3/4" bolts to assemble! Thank god for small cordless impacts.
Work today for 1/2 day on my real job with payroll & conference calls then back at it if weather permits. Storms rolled in here in SE Oklahoma last night.
First cup poured and away we go!
