Good morning!!!!

45 out this AM. It was 70 yesterday. And it was a great day. Today they are calling for snow and rain in my parts. Clouds are overhead and the temps are dropping. Nothing yet. It will be an indoor day I guess after the animals are taken care of.

Enjoy the day all, hope your weather is fair, be safe.

54 going to 64 in light rain this morning. Forecast for this week is challenging. An inch of rain predicted here mid week; that means lots of snow further North usually.
I don't care about snow, it's the 24 degree low on Thursday morning that has me concerned. Not much I can do about it.
Fired up the weedeater yesterday afternoon to cut foot high weeds around the barn, seems silly with snow coming...

Left forearm still very sore and cannot put weight on it, but carefully can use it. Sore spot just below crook of arm, a bit swollen, hope it will just go down.
If I tore something, not sure they can fix it anyway.

I see a number of UPS packages on the porch I missed last night, when I finish my coffee going to investigate. I cancelled a large plant/tree order with Burgess Seeds, due to a very
bad experience with them, and reordered 25 hybrid willows on Amazon. A little more expensive, but order shipped out in two days.
Burgess told me they hadn't even looked at my order in two weeks, so i told them to cancel.
Which they didn't..., and kept sending me packages, the first of which I paid the postage to return to them, thinking fair is fair, I cancelled despite their
problems. When they sent me a bigger package yesterday, which unfortunately I was not here to refuse, it shows how messed up their internal controls are. This one
I told them to send a pickup for or the package would just sit and go nowhere. I have already received a refund on the order through the credit card company; have nothing to lose here.
Perhaps that company has too much business, but what a different experience in dealing with Jackson & Perkins or Burpee. I guess that's why the Burgess plants costs one quarter to one half of the others. Their customer service lady got pretty huffy with me, complaining of my "accusations" of poor service. Accusations? The truth will set you free...
No more discount plant places for me.

Dump run, gym, more ACC Tournament, and chainsaw work today.

Always look for the studies and provide link to the research.
The link you provided did not have a list of the studies.

On mayo clinic website:
Since little is known about the long-term safety of MSM, it's no surprise that the efficacy also is unclear. Some studies have shown slight improvements in arthritis symptoms, but these studies were small and short term, so no definitive conclusions can be made.

Although there is great interest in using MSM to treat a variety of conditions, including arthritis, more research is needed to determine its benefits and risks.

I would be looking for studies like this:
Turmeric Curcumin & Rheumatoid Arthritis | NutritionFacts.org

MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane): MedlinePlus Supplements

Here's a link to many studies:

msm methylsulfonylmethane - PubMed - NCBI

Drinking first cup of coffee. 59° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 89° with lots of sun. No plans for today. Other than patio time.
Son and grandson are going to our place to move tree out of drive and check over buildings for any damage in afternoon.
Buppies, hope paver repairs are completed so you can get back to paving.
Good Morning All.

38 this morning and headed to 47 today. They've backed off the snow accumulation forecast for tomorrow. Was 3-5" now less than 1". Oh well wife probably won't see that snow day she wanted.

Think I'll head back to the sawmill today. Hopefully the fuel truck makes it today.

Good Morning! 57F @ 6:00AM. Cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy this afternoon. High 69F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.

Nice flooring, PJ. Izat hickory?

Time for some foam earplugs to help you through the night, Eric? Might help with those less than desireable radio programs, too.

Mechanic had all four wheels on the van yesterday, but still no fluid in the brakes so I wonder if he got the correct lines sorted out. I did snag some work cleaning up the intake manifold we'll be using, and I've brought the instrument cluster home for cleaning and repair. It seems someone's previous attempts have broken several plastic bosses into which assembly screws turn, so time to get a fresh batch of epoxy and form new ones.

TGIF gang!

Trying to get some energy worked up to go outside and do chores.

Possible short window of opportunity. Rain coming 40% chance, foggy and everything wet outside right now. I need to weed eat and mow.

Good morning! 64˚ foggy 50% chance of rain today getting up to 81˚.

Kyle thanks for the 44 references in the two links, just glancing through the references there were 3 studies on arthritis of the knees which were positive. The pub med description was accurate the studies did not include a large number of people for a long time. I would not discount the studies as they did. I would conclude that there is some relief in some people and is something to try to see if you get pain relief.

32°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 45° today. Mild thunderstorms pushed through yesterday afternoon, and brought colder weather with it. The 1-3" snowfall predicted for tomorrow has now been revised to "dusting to an inch."

Nice flooring, PJ. Izat hickory?

Sort of. It's actually SmartCore Rustic Hickory, an engineered wood that's really more vinyl than wood, I think. Looks good, though, and supposed to be very durable. That flooring will cover the kitchen, living room, hallway, master bedroom, and Wife's sewing room.

So, just as things started to get back on track ... they unpacked the new shower yesterday, and (drum roll, please) it is WRONG!!! Our $3K custom shower was made the wrong size. The base is barely big enough for a small adult to stand in, much less shower in, and the side walls are two different sizes (one taller than the other). Aye carumba! At least this isn't Lowe's fault.

Hopefully our last blast of winter came yesterday afternoon and evening. About 4 inches of snow. Good thing is it is supposed to be the start a warming trend. Don't think I will go to the gym today, will work on my income taxes and also a card for a very sick uncle in Europe, have to spend some time on the translation from English so they can read it.

Here is the link to the product:
Sulfurzyme Capsules | Young Living Essential Oils

A small webpage from arthritis.org concerning MSM:
MSM for Arthritis | Methylsulfonylmethane

My wife is reading that apparently, this has been considered a good remedy for a long time.

If anyone has tried it, care to comment? I just hate hearing about how much pain some of you are enduring.

I'd want to research it for possible side effects or contraindications, (wife is a doctor), but I haven't found many miracles, so I'd give it a try.

Drew, I need to tell you about the hybrid willows, I planted a bunch of them at my old place. They grow very fast, but they shed leaves three times a season and every time the wind blows they drop hundreds of small limbs on everything. They will develop multiple trunks if you don't cut the new growth several times a season. If a limb touches the ground it will take roots and start another tree. They are easy to grow if you just keep water on them, but I'll never plant another one.

After three pretty days it's rainy and getting cooler by the hour, north breeze is whispering but going to get harder as the day goes by. Looks like one more week of winter. My son in Front a Royal, VA is expecting 6"-10" of snow Monday into Tuesday.

58 degrees going to mid 60's today. It is warmer than normal by about 10 degrees. The mountains are still piled high with snow.
The snow is getting a little harder, can only get powder if you show up the day after it snows. Here's a couple shots of fun.

Have you ever thought of just getting a small airplane for fun?:D

That would put me over the edge on fun toys. My wife thinks I have to many now. :confused3:
As if one can have to many fun toys.

On the fun front, I was able to get my field ready for seeding last night after work. Going to seed Monday.
