Thanks Thall! I keep her in the garage and wash/wax pretty often. I am also laughed at a lot for doing so, but she still looks brand new!

Yes....its metal. Kindof a design flaw, but if you slide it in easily it doesn't effect the teeth. Besides, it gave me an excuse to get a chainsaw blade sharpener from Harbor Freight!!:cool2:

My buddy had a harbor freight chainsaw sharpener. It could have been operator error, but it did an awful job. Most chains cut better before he started. My timberline sharpener is MUCH better better IMO.

Really nice work.

Try one of those plastic chain guards/covers in your saw scabbard maybe.

Looks like a LOT of life left in those tires!!!
Maybe if rolling is all you are worried about. Traction wise they are pretty well spent.

Nice work. I like the idea. I think you could make almost an identical scabbard using 3/8" polypro sheet of some cheap cutting boards and blind bolt it to the bracket that gets welded to the tractor. I'm in north Texas (so we don't have trees:laughing:), otherwise I'd be making the same thing for keeping a chainsaw with my tractor.

Perhaps if you made the slot a bit wider to fit a plastic scabbard, you could avoid possible chain damage. In any case, it's a very neat job! The lettering is also a nice touch. Great project!
